I could not ask for more, or maybe just if not a bit overpriced, but okay, it's a premium steakhouse with delicious Filet Mignon, fabulous plate with entrances filled with ham, creamy tuna, sponge butter and some vegetables. This and a bottle of Cabernet Sauvignon from Eger and the experience is complete. Service is excellent, staff friendly and available to... More

An excellent range of steaks, always cooked to perfection, accompanied by a range of fine wines and very good service. You can eat in the pavement section weather permitting or in the well air conditioned, comfortable and smart interior. Not cheap but quality.

This is world class customer experience and close to perfection from A to Z. 1) The staff is proactive and genuinely interested in giving a top class experience. 2) The food is without doubt Guide Michelin quality level - despite the restaurants absence in there. 3) Fantastic wine selection. A must in case you are visiting Budapest and appreciates world... More

I live in Budapest now for several years and have been to Prime many times...Prime is a "Ying and Yang / Good and Bad" situation; without question the food is OUTSTANDING, I can argue that they have the very best menu and steaks in town, outstanding atmosphere and beautiful restaurant...now for the flip side....sorry but the reality (like many places... Great place to dine if you are a steak lover and the staff is fantastic! Highest quality steaks, great wine and they really take care of you. They offered me a local red wine from the lake balaton region and it was like the nectar of the gods....my steak was cooked perfectly... so delicious...Ill go again. Thanks

We were wrapping up a day at St Stephens Basilica and we found this last minute on TripAdvisor and decided to give it a try. We were not disappointed. We were able to enjoy a nice dinner at an outside table. We both ordered steaks, of course, and both were very tender and tasty. Highly recommended however it is a... More

Out table was laid out with rose petals and hearts in celebration on our anniversary, which I thought was so attentive. This is the first time I have come to a steakhouse and all steaks were cooked to how we liked them. The food was cooked to a very high standard, and the service complimented the food. Yes it is... Quite fancy place with good service and great food. Expensive but price is reasonable for quality like this... Definitively try some cocktail too!

Staying in District V / Inner City

Neighborhood Profile
District V / Inner City
Discover the Inner City along the banks of the Danube, with its fashionable shops and iconic buildings. The Inner-City Parish Church and St. Stephen’s Basilica stand out as two of the finest examples of architecture in the area. If you are still hunting for more historical treats, then the ruins of the medieval city walls on Kecskeméti Utca are a must-visit while the Soviet War Memorial is also worthy of attention and relevant to Hungary’s more recent history. If shopping is on your itinerary, then be prepared: the market squares in this area are an absolute delight, particularly during the Christmas period, but even throughout the year you’ll find the latest trends in the shops on Vaci Utca.
