Very interesting shop selling recycled, upcycled items and great prints with strong graphics. Prices are very fair and the shop has a welcoming atmosphere.

I did my research about unusual made in Budapest products. Printa really delivers. From terrific little notebooks and scribbles with Budapest designs to pillow covers, t-shirts, kid's pillows, prints and jewelry this is such a cool shop. Plus everything is made in an eco friendly way. The prices are really good and you will take souvenirs home that are truly... More

That you can get great coffee at Printa is an added bonus. Printa has many faces. It is a concept store, screen printing place, gallery, store, boutique and cafe . Somehow all shops should be like this. Inspiring on all levels ! All their designs from clothes, to accessories, to books, to prints and to the fabled printa's pest collection,... More

This place is categorized under restaurants but to me, it stands our more as a design and gift shop. The store had many different drawings/prints as well as some clothes. Everything seemed to be made by local Hungarian artists. Perfect spot for unique souvenirs and post cards.

It's a design shop in the city center of Budapest, with nice service and great coffee! They sell products from very good Hungarian artists including graphics, jewellery and clothes. They have one own clothes brand, it's famous because they made all the clothes from recycled materials! Visit that place & support Hungarian art!

This place is very unique in Budapest. Besides the local-designed clothes and accessories, they have very fresh and creamy coffee. The barmen is always smiling and provides help if required.

Budapest Alternative Tour took us to this co-operative art shop and cafe. There is a range of art to look through and items to buy. Drinks and food reasonably priced.

We visited Budapest's first concept store that does have a little cafe inside. You can see that the back room is where the printing magic happens. Cute place to pick up a t shirt / prints / bags / cool souvenirs. http://printa.hu/printa-budapest-about-us/?lang=en

Very creative, cool, global but local concept! Great for art and/or gift shopping... and a good coffee. Also liked their idea of workshops (you have to be a super-lucky-tourist to be there on right date, its not that often as i saw; so i couldn't make it)... next time!

Staying in District VII / Jewish Quarter

Neighborhood Profile
District VII / Jewish Quarter
District VII is the very heart of Budapest and houses the city’s Jewish Quarter. Its streets are lively and colorful, its buildings narrate different histories in an assortment of architectural styles, and its cafes and bars are frequented and loved by the enthusiastic crowds. Grand and magnificent, the striking star of the district is the Great Synagogue, the largest in Europe and one of the biggest in the world. Distinctly Moorish in style, crowned by the twin onion shaped domes, the Synagogue is the very emblem of District VII and one of the main attractions in the capital.
