Had a very delicious lunch here on our last day in Budapest. I tried the mead and my older daughter, who is 20, tried the stout. Both were really good!! The staff were super friendly and spoke English but were also really encouraging with my...attempts at speaking Magyar! The drinks were served in cool glasses. Water was provided as part of the meal, which was a nice touch. The food itself was so tasty. The bread that accompanied our fish soups was super yummy! The beer is fantastic! Highly recommend Myrkvior if you want to branch outside of beer. The server Niki was truly the highlight of the experience. Fantastic service with great recommendations and expert knowledge on beer.

Great craft beers in a very nice open aired environment in central Budapest. We received excellent service from Nikki who recommended beers we loved. Highly recommend.

Went for a few beers. Nice place to people watch on the street in front of the bar. They are serving beers from their own brewery which is known to maybe also challenge the usual expectations on what a beers is.

World class beer hands down. Coming from a place where craft beer is viewed as an art (Fort Collins, CO USA), I can safely say that Mad Scientist is pushing the boundaries of beer. Try the Liquid Cocaine, you will not be disappointed.
