This is a lovely place too sit outside in the sunshine and have a coffee or a beer. Didn't try the food but it looked nice. Cocktails looked good as well. Your not rushed and the staff services are excellent. Would recommend highly
The place is well positioned, the view from the terrace is nice. The service was good but the food didn't meet our expectations (the food didn't have much flavor). It was definitely overpriced.
We would like to say a huge thanks to Ancsa (sorry if spelled incorrectly 😊) who was absolutely amazing! We had last minutes of my husband’s birthday and the cafe was about to close. She arranged this little surprise literally in seconds 🙃 We sat...outside happily with our slice of Dobos torta with a candle (even matches) to sang our Happy birthday 🥳More

Very rude staff, impossible to get served if sat outside. When you ask to order, you’re just ignored. I asked what I think was a manager whether I could order and he actually pulled a face, looked around and then took our order when really...he didn’t want to. About 20 members of staff working but only two actually serving the customers, the rest were crowding at the bar area. Not sure English customers were welcome. The food was pretty nice but I’ve never felt so uncomfortable eating in a cafe. Much nicer places to eat in Budapest where the staff are pleasant.More

I had breakfest: omlet, and orange juice. The juice was really good. Seemed to be freshly squize. The omlet and bred were nice, Coffee was good too. It was very close to my hotel. It was a bit expensive, but I liked it. Service could...be better. I was early morning, the only customer, so I would expect some more attention.More

Very poor service. Terrible body language from the staff. Had to ask to the staff to come and take the order but nobody came and left me no other choice just to leave. Even though there looked a man in charge of that place but...he looked worse than the other hardworking staff. Very disappointed and avoid that overpriced place.More

I visited this place with my daughter. The coffee shop looked nice, inviting and big. We ordered few cakes which were not very tasty. I asked do or a fruit tea with no sugar syrup in it. The tea arrived and it was terribly sweet....The waitress was not even trying understand why the tea was sweet , she just told me there is no any sugar in it. The coffee was totally weak. Besides good not being great there, the prices are very high especially for the local standards, and the most disappointing was the body language of the staff. There is nothing welcoming generally in Hungarian services unfortunately. We witnessed it everywhere: shops, restaurants, markets. May be it is a local mentality but I really can not commend Hungarian on it. Although we met few nice and polite people. But in general we are not pleased with the atmosphere.More

Very busy cafe, we had to wait 20 minutes for a table but the cafe let us wait inside as it was very cold. We ordered the traditional cake and the salted caramel cake and both were really good but the salted caramel cake was...better. The chocolate late and standard late were delicious. Well worth a visit while in Budapest, even worth the wait.More

Saw this place as we were walking past a few days ago and thought to try it out. We went in today and it didn’t disappoint. My mum was in her wheelchair and the staff (particularly one man who we didn’t get his name) was...very helpful with her. I have to say though that it was very busy but the staff still smiled and did a great job. We didn’t wait long for our food or drinks either which was good seeing how busy they were. I highly recommend going here if you’re ever in Budapest but keep in mind that it seems very popular.More

I was impressed with this cafe, and the reason was more than one. It’s a coffee place in the center of a very busy and touristic area with thousands of people walking by. Even if it’s crazy busy the staff is very polite and smiley...all the time. We’ve been there twice for a coffee break and a dessert. I cannot remember the first waitress who served us close to the Christmas tree area, but she was very nice and was speaking very good English. The second time we visit the place, our waitress was Laura and I would like to say the same, smiley, polite, friendly and attentive. Thank you! In case you visit the place and it’s busy, give them a bit time and the people will assist you! Tip. Try the chocolate cherry cake 😋More

Our first pit stop on arrival in Budapest. Our introduction to the delicious Hungarian red wine and the Hungarian goulash soup. The place is constantly busy and serves wine, cocktails, coffee & great food. It was our final pit stop before we left for the...airport and would highly recommend. Special mention to Ga’bor. We will be looking for that delicious wine from our merchant in the UK.More
