I try the lemon and basil and red fruits (or something like that). The lemon and basil had a little bit too much basil for me, but it was really nice do. The other flavour was really nice! Both were clearly fresh. Nice and creative presentation. The local is a hit. Expect rows. Recommended!

It is a bit of a novelty but the price is reasonable and the flavours are very bold. I thought it was too much flavour but that's personal preference! Very good ice cream. We also got waffles in the morning which were okay but very stodgy and slightly over priced for what they were. Friendly staff though and definitely worth... More

The ice creams were lovely and well made for the girls that work there. The taste was very nice. I really recommend it.

Thought this place was gimmicky with the flower stuff, but the gelato was really delicious. Strong, bold flavors in both savory and fruit categories. The chocolate and hazel it is a killer combo. The peach gelato and watermelon sorbet were incredible too. Husband got oreo and it really did taste like the real deal. So delicious, we went back twice.... More

It is fun to watch them make the ice cream into a rose on a cone. Good ice cream comes in many flavors, even has a couple of milk free choices for those who are lactose intolerant. Some seating inside but most people who we saw there just walked out with their cones AFTER taking photos of their awesome roses.

My children (teenagers) had a couple of these during our trip there and they only cost a couple of pounds for the largest one. They would be double the price in the UK. Well worth waiting in the queue.

In 102 degrees it hit the spot! Unique and fun flavor combinations. They now have two locations that are super close to each other so if one is busy go to the other. Everyone working was very friendly and helpful.

This small ice-cream shop is much more than it looks like from the outside. I was staying in the nearby and got curious why there was always a small queue at the entrance, no matter what time of day or night, so I just had to give it a try! And so it was, great service, nice people, everything very... More

Located in the center of Budapest (Basilica), Gelarto Rosa is THE BEST ice cream in this town! Owner, the charismatic Niki Szokron studied the secrets of old Italian family recipes straight from the source in Italy and brought it back to her city. The philosophy behind it: fresh and true quality ingredients, old Italian traditions, modern technic and as final touch, add artistic creativity. The pretty ice cream girls at Niki's shop "create" each and every portion or cone as a unique artwork using ice cream as art material. It's simply amazing! Don't miss Peti (the barista) great Italian style coffee, and have real French macaroon from Juliette McAron.
