Good place to taste typical Hungarian reds and whites in the unique atmosphere of a medieval wine cellar.

If you love great wine you will love Hungary and this place. Go to the hills and order a nice dry red and sit back and watch the world and the Danube roll by. Enjoy your life more and worry less.

We tasted the wine with a group of 9, we had a great night. Sometimes the explanation about he wines were hard to follow. The ambiance was really nice. It was a small walk down the cellars of the budacastle.

We travelled wide and far to visit only to be told they are closed. No explanation or alternative. Very disappointed as with many other things in Budapest.

Was really looking forward to visiting , but the museum has closed down. The hilton hotel opposite offers a wine tasting experience, I didn't try , for me I was looking for a wine cellar in the historic buda castle not a modern hotel.

We visited for a tour as my friend and I are both interested in wine. We were told on entry to pay when the tour ended and now I know why- after the tour when we'd had a bit to drink and it's fair to...More

With a huge selection of Hungarian wine available for the tasting, a map, some snacks and 2 hours to go as crazy as you wish this was expected to be a recipe for success; and it was! I generally do not rate European wine as...More

Friendly and knowledgable staff made this a very good visit- a good way to spend a couple of hours whilst enjoying the Castle district in Budapest.
