Actually I should have written this review half a year ago! This cafe is like my second living room. I tried once just the pie and now they serve not only the most amazing home made pie which makes you want to sleep with this pie, they also serve great drinks, the freshest shakes, shockingly good booze and since a few weeks also the best burgers and sandwiches I have ever had in Budapest.
The owners are so lovely and when you try anything you see that they overthought every single detail. They do everything to make you feel cosy and you want to stop time the moment you take a bite of a sandwich.
You really have to Check this place out. I asure you that I was not paid for this review and it just comes from the bottum of my pie filled heart!

I enjoyed the strawberry lemonade and it’s definitely cozy with a good selection of food that everyone would be interested in. The staff were very pleasant. The food I ordered came in a small portion but perfect for a sunny day where you only want a small breakfast. Very chill atmosphere as well which was a nice change of pace.

The cafe really lives up to its name. Cozy and cute.
We had to sit upstairs when we came in and because of the heat wave my dad was overheated. Well the waiter must have heard us talking about how to cool him down. He quietly finished his lunch break, turned on the air conditioning and closed the windows, even though we were the only table seated upstairs. I’ve never seen my dad look so grateful for air conditioning and the ice water that came with our lunch.
Air conditioning and ice water aside, the servers are very kind, patient, and the food is delicious and well priced. Looking forward to coming back someday!

Came here for brunch our first morning in Budapest, greeted by friendly staff who were very accommodating. Menu has a variety of options for food and drink so all started off very positive.
Had quite a long wait for our food which wasn’t ideal as we wanted to get out and explore the city. When our food eventually came it looked lovely my boyfriend had pancakes which he enjoyed.
I had the club sandwich which was nice until I took a bite and found a huge chicken bone. This immediately put me off of my meal which our server must have noticed as she asked me if everything was ok. I explained the situation and she apologised and asked if I wanted another one made. I felt sick from the bone and as we had already waited such a long time I said no.
I then waited a while before the plate was actually removed and we got the bill. We questioned why we were being charged for the club sandwich as I had barely had a bite and it had the bone. The server who had previously been understanding suddenly turned sour and started saying it wasn’t their fault and as she had offered me another one, which I turned down, there was nothing they could do. I explained again I felt sick from having an unexpected chicken bone in my mouth but they did not care. We had to pay for a meal I did not eat.
Majorly disappointed, I understand these things can happen but wouldn’t expect it from a club sandwich. And even if it does I would expect more understanding from the staff.
Have friends visiting budapest later this month and have advised them to stay away.

The environment is really nice. The food is nothing exceptional and I would like to point out that the orange juice seems industrial. Such a high price for the quality offered is not justified and I did not find such a high service percentage (compulsory already included in the bill) correct or justified.

Yeah, so we expected a lot of this place. But it was quite awful. I'm not talking about the service - it was really nice. What was not nice were the pancakes - they tasted like they are made from a box. Very dry, had a weird aftertaste. Also there wasn't a lot of maple syrup on it and that would've maybe covered the lack of taste. Eggs were good, but not wonderful. Avocado toast was absolutely disgusting. I'm sorry guys, but what are you using? Fake avocado? Avocado nacho dip? It was really bad.
All in all, we left quite hungry and disappointed. What would I recommend to you readers, who are thinking if they should visit this place? Decide to pay a little bit extra for another spot but be sure that you will eat a nice, tasty breakfast.

It is cosy in Cosy Cafe, and the coffees are just right and exactly what we needed. We recommend ordering the pancakes for breakfast, and the scrambled tofu eggs were also fantastic. The service was delightful and we were glad to open our morning there.

Delicious brunch with many options if you’re vegan/vegetarian. Incredibly friendly service and the juices were fresh along with the meals being made with good quality ingredients. I personally recommend the tofu dishes, these had a unique smoky flavour and overall the bread quality was really nice.

Very good atmosphere, a pretty interesting menu and, above all, a very friendly and attentive staff, both the waitresses and the cashier boy. The American pancake with kindergarten was delicious and even made us a heart shape in the dough as decoration. Coffee is also delicious.

The cutest little cafe with a great selection of coffee, tea, breakfast and lunch foods! Staff were so friendly and helpful. Prices were cheap and everything tasted wonderful! There is also a lovely wall display with notes from people who have visited the cafe from around the world. I cannot recommend it enough!

This cute cafe is a great place to start your day as they are only open for breakfast and lunch. Most of the tables are upstairs, so the friendly servers get a workout going up and down steps. Tasty food and coffee, but be aware they don’t have decaf.

Great place for breakfast, very nice staff with great English. Excellent pancakes and nutella latte🤩 Recommended if you want to have the feeling of a homemade breakfast. And the prices are good. Sitting outside is pleasant even though it is on the street with traffic.

Superb. A friendly welcome and a nice atmosphere. The menu is varied and the service was prompt and attentive. Great coffee! The Hungarian eggs were excellent. We didn't book and were lucky to get a table. It is worth booking to make sure you get in.

I had seen a video of this place from TikTok. We decided to give it a try on our last morning in Budapest.
Before even walking in, the door was already opened for us! We were greeted and sat immediately by very friendly staff.
I had a dirty chai latte and avocado toast. The dirty chai was one of the best I’ve had in a long time!
We never felt rushed and everything came out very quickly, even on a busy morning.
As we were leaving, the staff opened the door for us kindly again. Great experience!
