Visit it twice during my stay. First time we stumbled upon it and decided to have a cocktail in the very beautiful setting. Very good cocktail, but very slow and unfocused waiters with no flair for service. Second visit (the menu looked good and we...decided to come back). It was a sunday and we arrived 5.50PM. We were seated, and handed the menus. In the next 20 min, waiters passed us constantly without glancing in our direction, or even noticing my polite handwawing. After 25 min i decided to go to the bar. I took 2 Pelligrino and 2 glasses and went back to my table. No reaction from anyone. Maybe its a self service restaurant?? After 30 min a waiter noticed me and said - just a moment. It took him 10 min to get back, and we had now waited 40 min. I gently stated that we now had waited 40 min and his reply were. Do you want to order or do you want to complaint!!! If it was my business an attitude like that would put him on the street instantly. We of course left right away!. This please will managed since its a hotel cafe and there will always be customers that doesn't have time to look what Budapest can offer. Believe me - you can get bib gourmand and one star michelin food for the same price.More

Finally the Parisi Udvar opened doors for publication. We arrived Saturday for brunch. However the ceiling was amazing other renovation completed with rough-and-ready work. The menu card was too simple without extraordinary texture or any speciality. Music was missing, waiters were talking so it was...too steril to speech each other. I recommend slight jazz, soul or funk music. Tableware was totally poor (white normal size plate with metal saucer, common glass for coffee) and not fit with the feeling. I ate sunny sidebup eggs with bacon and bread. Plate presentation was extremly usual with minimal size of too baked bacon, miniature leafes. Waiters were just a holder with no questions or communication for guest joy. My recommendation is to figure out a Parisi Udvar style for serving and entertaining. That time we ate like a cheap hostel guests with expensive bill. Maybe see you next year!More
