Had the mini wine tasting which consisted of a white, rose, red and sweet along with a cheese and meat platter. Really impressed with all four wines! Staff were lovely as was the atmosphere.

Loved it here. Very nice cellar style brickwork (though at ground level) and some quirky interior decoration. A large but not overwhelming selection of reasonably priced Hungarian wine, plus other drinks options. Some background music which wasn't intrusive. I think they do live music some nights. We didn't eat here.

Before visiting this bar I thought about Hungarian wines as a very low level ones. I totally change my mind! Accompanied by a variety of local chees it was really a great surprise for me. If you are a fan of dry red, take Cabernet Franc 2012 (Ikon vinery) and cheese selection - and you will be also surprised. And... More

This place has a very cool atmosphere. Beautiful brickwork inside, interesting lighting, and really great live music. We tried the red wine tasting, which was good.

Spent a wonderful few hours one afternoon sampling some fantastic Hungarian wines and sampling traditional snacks. Extensive and very reasonably priced wine list with a wine tasting option.. Staff were very welcoming and extreamly knowledgeable. Lovely ambiance. A great place to spend a relaxing afternoon.

This place has fantastic atmosphere. We went there on a wednesday night, and it was packed, the ligths were din, and a triplet of talented musicians setbthe tone on their base/fiddle/guitar composition. A bit slow service, but altogether awesome!

Thank Mortn N

Staying in District VII / Jewish Quarter

Neighborhood Profile
District VII / Jewish Quarter
District VII is the very heart of Budapest and houses the city’s Jewish Quarter. Its streets are lively and colorful, its buildings narrate different histories in an assortment of architectural styles, and its cafes and bars are frequented and loved by the enthusiastic crowds. Grand and magnificent, the striking star of the district is the Great Synagogue, the largest in Europe and one of the biggest in the world. Distinctly Moorish in style, crowned by the twin onion shaped domes, the Synagogue is the very emblem of District VII and one of the main attractions in the capital.
