What a terrific surprise for our 1st night in Budapest - Lado was just up the street from our terrific hotel (The Continental), has jazz every night, and it is anything but run-of-the-mill! Don't miss it! You'll never want to leave.

This restaurant is small, cozy and near the Courtyard Marriott. The food was great and reasonably priced. Service was attentive and no language issues. Live music most nights which was a nice surprise.

Description
We prepare the classic meals of the Hungarian cuisine. We recomend the popular goulash soup, the little bit spicy vegetable ragout "Lecso" and the city's popular "Budapest style beefsteak with goose liver". Besides the meals, there are live jazz concerts every evening from 20:00 till 22:00.
