I had a dinner in this place and they advice me to take a desert which was a chocolate cake and I accepted. In the bill the chocolate cake was 7900huf (22€) more the main dish, I asked why it was like that and they...said nothing basically. Then I checked the menu and it was 1500huf (3,8€). They gave the money back (~18€) but not once they apologize. Moral of the history check carefully your bill.More

Hamburger was very expensive, however the bun had no quality at all. I would expect a better quality and a wider range on the menu.

You don’t wanna miss the cholent with a goose leg at Feri’s Kitchen! It is the good, old fashioned, classic Hungarian bean dish full of taste and love.

We ate here several times and never got disappointed. One must try their liba comb or solet. The restaraunt is a family business and the chef is the owner or his wife. Both very kind.

I was going to try this place out until I saw the photos of their food on their Facebook profile. You can tell how good a restaurant is just simply by looking at the photos and here there is nothing special than what you could...cook at home. Yet, I’m an exceptional chef and could very easily cook even better than what I see here. The food looks bland and without good positioning and presentation on the plates. A piece of meat just thrown on some dry baby lettuce leaves. I don’t know why anyone would put a flower to decorate their dishes but this would only act as a substitute for a lack of color and appearance. The side salads are just iceberg lettuce (with stems!) and nothing else in the salad but squiggly balsamic syrup dressing. Multiple dishes have no impact or wow factor and its even below average par. Sorry but this place is ripe for a Gordon Ramsey makeover.More

If you're looking for quality food, a cozy atmosphere, and friendly service at the heart of the city center, this is a must-to-go place. They have a delicious daily business lunch menu besides a-la-carte. The owner is the chef as well, Ferenc Salai, who traveled...a lot and worked abroad as well, learning the nuances of various kitchens, and you can find him on-site all the time, taking care of guests and staff. The design of the restaurant is charming and unique. One can find a fine-dining style inside in one room, a more casual one in another room, and an even more relaxed in the terrace. We're having lunch here for the last couple of weeks and never disappointed. I have to mention that this was the only place in the neighborhood, which stayed open during the Covid-19 situation, providing free food to all the people in need, and the owner still provides food to some hospitals in need. I highly recommend this place. The place was formerly known as Yiddishe Mamma Mia.More

If you want to have something ordinary, without decent service, this place is not for you. :) At Feri's place, you always get something extraordinary, let it be something from the menu, which praises Feri's and Tundi's (owners of the place) delicate imagination on combining...taste, color to create a wonder you've never ever tasted before, or let it be the atmosphere of the restaurant, being an unique, restful island in an ever-rushing (yet nice) surrounding. It's not a question that you will be part of something greater than only the food and the place; it's the question whether you stop here and immerse into the tradition of decades refined at Feri's. ;)More

I visited this place several times, and I always had the feeling, I am welcome there. They always help me out if I can't decide what to eat. Their food is 10/10 regarding taste, quality, and size.
