Came here to try some Hungarian food on our trip to Budapest, was great. Good range of food, reasonably priced. Has recently been renervated, very modern. Great service.

I am completely shocked that multiple reviewers have said this restaurant has no atmosphere when the restaurant itself is in a cave - it was the complete opposite of boring! We were also brought in by the woman advertising on the street, which made us a bit trepidatious at first. There was no nokedli on the menu with the goulash... More

It took pretty long time to get the food even though we ordered some salads . Service was very impersonal.

This was a very nice restaurant with excellent Hungarian food. The musicians entertained us throughout the meal. The service was also pleasant. The only thing was we were the only table occupied! I can't understand why?

This restaurant is situated behind the parliament. The interior is beautiful as it is surrounded by a brick cave/wine cellar downstairs. They have classical/gypsy band playing as you eat your meal. The service is very good and the staff are friendly and accommodating. The food was the best I have tasted in Budapest so far. I ordered the bean soup... More

Nice enough. But remember to ask for the set menu. And be insistent! Only really offered to 'locals'. We were told it ended at 4 pm. Only to see 4 subsequent tables seated WITH the daily set menu! Sigh. And grrr.

Highly recommend the lunch menu. Just have a quick meal to stop during the sightseeing have a typical Hungarian meal, and get a cool beer in a hot summer day in a cool cellarage. Fast service, and frienly staff.

We enjoyed a delicious meal at Nador. We tried several Hungarian wines which were tasty and reasonably priced. The marinated cucumbers and the Paprika Chicken were favorites among our group of travelers. Our waiter provided good service and spoke English fairly well. The subterranean restaurant has been decorated to look like a wine cave. Well worth a visit!

nador would get a 3.5 from me, everything about it was above average, but i could not say that anything was amazing. the setting was perfectly nice and the food was good, tho i ordered a vegetarian mains dish which was about a third of the size of my friends meat dish, i seriously could have eaten it several times... District V / Inner City
Discover the Inner City along the banks of the Danube, with its fashionable shops and iconic buildings. The Inner-City Parish Church and St. Stephen’s Basilica stand out as two of the finest examples of architecture in the area. If you are still hunting for more historical treats, then the ruins of the medieval city walls on Kecskeméti Utca are a must-visit while the Soviet War Memorial is also worthy of attention and relevant to Hungary’s more recent history. If shopping is on your itinerary, then be prepared: the market squares in this area are an absolute delight, particularly during the Christmas period, but even throughout the year you’ll find the latest trends in the shops on Vaci Utca.
