I called the restaurant at 12:30 for 13:30 reservation and they gladly accepted which was a pleasant surprise as the Budapest Marathon was taking place today (as I write this review). I was greeted warmly and shown to a nice table. There was a misunderstanding about my order so it ended up being too much for one but I really... More

Modern Japanese cuisine in a nice restaurant. The black cod is recommended. Cool place for a night out with friends.

This nobu was ok but not as enjoyable as others we have visited. The place was busy and there were a range of choices.

Located just near the Shopping District this restaurant offers a great value Business Lunch that is well worth the visit. For 5000 pp Monday to Friday, you can get a miso soup, selection of sushi a(changes daily) and ice cream. We spent more on the wine than the food! Service was excellent.

We celebrated our 40th anniversary at Nobu. It was the best decision ever. Have been to Nobu in New York, and Las Vegas, I think Nobu Budapest is better. It seems more intimate and elegant. We had the tuna with jalapeños and was as fabulous as always. I had the best soft shell crab I have ever put in my... More

Time to time visiting BP Nobu as I am big Japanese food friend. Starter was good, salmon tartar... Special way build up harmony! Main course for me scallops with mushrooms. Taste good but a little confusing, too heavy and busy balance. Scallops bit overdone or more likely frozen ones as texture of meat bit like chewy. Wife fish Turbot was... More

I was staying at the hotel and the restaurant was very convenient as I like Asian cuisine. We shared sushi and a few other dishes. They very average on taste. The waiters very friendly and service was fast.

I have seen many bad comments about Nobu in Budapest. However I went there with my boyfriend and we spent a great time together. The food is really high quality and TOKAJ wine was really tasty. MUST TRY in Nobu is DARK CHOCOLATE SPHERE dessert! Special praise for cooks! They are so kind, friendly and nice! And what is more... More

Neighborhood Profile
District V / Inner City
Discover the Inner City along the banks of the Danube, with its fashionable shops and iconic buildings. The Inner-City Parish Church and St. Stephen’s Basilica stand out as two of the finest examples of architecture in the area. If you are still hunting for more historical treats, then the ruins of the medieval city walls on Kecskeméti Utca are a must-visit while the Soviet War Memorial is also worthy of attention and relevant to Hungary’s more recent history. If shopping is on your itinerary, then be prepared: the market squares in this area are an absolute delight, particularly during the Christmas period, but even throughout the year you’ll find the latest trends in the shops on Vaci Utca.
