This one isn't as good as the ones in London or LA, but to get a Japanese fusion place going, especially at this quality, in a landlocked country is a tad challenging. Yellowtail with jalapeño and blackened cod are the must have items. Still highly recommended.

Whilst staying at the Kempinski hotel we visited the restaurant a few times. We hadn't booked a table and the place was busy, but both times they fit us in and we sat in the bar area, which after seeing the restaurant seating I did prefer our choice. The food was amazing and as to be expected from Nobu. We... More

very very good as usual, very international.. I enjoyed every single fish piece eaten as in every Nobu visited around the world, But my favorite is still the Armani Nobu in Milan. Anyway it's worth a visit. The price is as high as in all the Nobu around the world, but the quality of the food is worth it.

We book a table at Nobu because we heard a lot about this restaurant. It was not what we expected. When we ask about recommendation we didn't`t got any answer and some of the dishes was under our expectation. Salmon and Passion Fruit Ceviche, Peruvian Corn was a really disappointment. Our favorit was New Style sashimi Tuna.

We visited for Valentine's Day and had a lovely dinner. We were greeted well and had a lovely selection of plates. We left feeling good, not too full and not 'gluggy' Overall great meal.

Nobu restaurants are different in every country. This is not the best one, but still is good. The ambience is quite simple and cold, I think they could do better. The food is good.

The food itself is exceptional, perfect taste, consistency and look wheter it is the starter, the main dish or the dessert. Tried different options, everything was very delicious. But there is a lot of space for improvements concerning the staff. As the portions are tiny (it's okay) and the prices are extremly high (that's a fact) they need to take... More

While being in Budapest, visiting Nobu was just a natural decision. We were not dissapointed at all, enjoyed all the dishes. Our children were happy about fish, especially sushi. Atmosphere and service was also nice. Highly recommended!

We had 5 dishes fish menu. Only positive remarks as always. This time the restaurant was only 30% full. I think price level is too high for domestic people.

Visited Nobu with some colleagues during our recent trip to Budapest. Sure we have been to other Nobu restaurants ... I see some folks are upset over the price decor or selections offered in their Hungary restaurant. From my end, Budapest restaurants are good value for exceptional meals and Nobu meets our standard. I typically take photos of the food... More

Neighborhood Profile
District V / Inner City
Discover the Inner City along the banks of the Danube, with its fashionable shops and iconic buildings. The Inner-City Parish Church and St. Stephen’s Basilica stand out as two of the finest examples of architecture in the area. If you are still hunting for more historical treats, then the ruins of the medieval city walls on Kecskeméti Utca are a must-visit while the Soviet War Memorial is also worthy of attention and relevant to Hungary’s more recent history. If shopping is on your itinerary, then be prepared: the market squares in this area are an absolute delight, particularly during the Christmas period, but even throughout the year you’ll find the latest trends in the shops on Vaci Utca.
