The legendary black cod - how delicious it is. We were surprised to get a table so easily on Saturday evening but delighted. Friendly wait staff, the kitchen on view and some really good food. The black cod as I said exceptionally good. Baked mushrooms very tasty. Sizzling seafood - ok but nothing special. Rice. Home made sorbets - the... More

This was my first time having dinner at Nobu and I'm glad I did. Food was great - excellent presentation and the flavours were wonderful. Service was average, but I thought that was just typical service in Budapest.

We ate here many times and always had a good experience. Sushi rolls are good, but you have to try the mini burgers. Also the spinach salad with shrimps is a favourite.

Taken here by my son. Had never bothered with Japanese as I loveFrench. Pleasantly surprised. Enjoyed the sushi, which was very tasty. The hot beef was also very tasty. The desert was fantastic, lovely chocolate. Very impressed. still prefer French, but this was good.

I used to love Nobu in the West End and I think I like Nobu in Budapest better, Great food, great value, wonderful service. Sure there are cheaper options but for a treat Nobu is perfect.

My wife and I visited Nobu Budapest for a special dinner. Made reservations online without issue. My wife is not a huge raw fish fan. I wanted to try the omasake and let the chef show his skill. He agreed to make special dishes for the 3 courses that had raw fish in his omasake, substituting cooked fish options for... More

What a disappointment. I visited Nobu in London, Dubai etc, and this was the worst Nobu experience at any Nobu i visited. In all fairness, i came in with great expectations so that may have influenced this rating. But frankly, the sushi is of a low quality. Even at half the price, i would not return.

The sushi was just OK. We ordered the tuna, spicy scallop and avocado. The avocado was by far the best. The popcorn shrimp was just OK as well. Nothing to write home about. BEST were the mains. We ordered the beef and the venison, and the combinations of flavors really danced in my mouth. They were two of the best... More

We've heard that Nobu Restaurant in Kempinski Hotel is an excellent Japanese-cuisine restaurant. I am originally from East-Asia. So we booked it but when we were there, we were so disappointed that we left there immediately! It is NOT a restaurant, it is a PUB! This restaurant is very large in area, with oriental-style decoration but VERY NOISY AND DARK.... More

Neighborhood Profile
District V / Inner City
Discover the Inner City along the banks of the Danube, with its fashionable shops and iconic buildings. The Inner-City Parish Church and St. Stephen’s Basilica stand out as two of the finest examples of architecture in the area. If you are still hunting for more historical treats, then the ruins of the medieval city walls on Kecskeméti Utca are a must-visit while the Soviet War Memorial is also worthy of attention and relevant to Hungary’s more recent history. If shopping is on your itinerary, then be prepared: the market squares in this area are an absolute delight, particularly during the Christmas period, but even throughout the year you’ll find the latest trends in the shops on Vaci Utca.
