Very similar Nobu experience to Nobu in London. This place is all about the taste... and it's fantastic. We had a broad cross section of the menu from sashimi to sushi to black cod and so on. A standout was the Wagyu beef mini burgers... AMAZING

I have visited Nobu in multiple cities like in New York and London. Usually service and food has been slightly better. The drinks were very good. The service was quite disappointing and food was good, but not amazing. Sushi, for example, was actually pretty average. Overall, the atmosphere was happening and energising. Please note that if you decide to try... More

Our last night in Budapest we had no dinner plans and googled around. Found Nobu and we weren't disappointed. Best meal of the trip. Lovely setting, we were there on a Monday night so it was very quiet, just a few other tables. Quick service and the food came out quickly. Lovely waitress that made the experience that little extra.... More

We jumped at chance to try Nobu at a fraction of what the meal would have cost us in NYC or London. We enjoyed every bite- actually went twice on our Budapest visit. Excellent service through out both meals lent to experience. Try the edamame with the spicy dipping sauce- a revelation.Ditto the black miso cod.

This is really great Japanese cuisine restaurant. We took Bento box, it was simply marvellous, especially amazing beef, and splendid fish. Impeccable service, very high prices, but if you want really first-class Japanese food go there.

We were looking forward to this, but almost from when we walked through the lobby to the restaurant things went downhill. The (hotel) lobby was stuffy and headache inducing. On the plus side - very gracious staff, interesting if glitzy decor. And the salad of field greens was fresh, generously sized, and seasoned extremely well. The "squid pasta" with asparagus... More

I had dinner for two (not the 1st time I've been). In summary: 1) Outstanding service throughout. It was very attentive, polite and helpful. You would expect this but it was as good as I've seen in Budapest. 2) Food excellent, all dishes. Again you'd expect this but really couldn't fault it at all. 3) Good atmosphere. We actually went... A true Nobu experience. As always impecable service and great sushi. I would say the staff was even better and the usual. Outstanding is a good word.

We dropped in here for lunch whilst visiting the shopping streets of Budapest. Good Service and a good selection of light meals (recommend the Goulash soup - beware of the pepper on the side!)

I had the same experience of the Nobu I visited in London with some difference regarding the seats. Food was very good. Staff very friendly. Prices very affordable for a Nobu restaurant. We were able to find a place for 5 persons at 9pm without prior reservation.

Staying in District V / Inner City

Neighborhood Profile
District V / Inner City
Discover the Inner City along the banks of the Danube, with its fashionable shops and iconic buildings. The Inner-City Parish Church and St. Stephen’s Basilica stand out as two of the finest examples of architecture in the area. If you are still hunting for more historical treats, then the ruins of the medieval city walls on Kecskeméti Utca are a must-visit while the Soviet War Memorial is also worthy of attention and relevant to Hungary’s more recent history. If shopping is on your itinerary, then be prepared: the market squares in this area are an absolute delight, particularly during the Christmas period, but even throughout the year you’ll find the latest trends in the shops on Vaci Utca.
