Medium experience, food was good but services bad. A bit too much to eat on the menu. Music and athomephere awful. Way overpriced for the experience

Great night at Nobu. The food is amazing, the only thing that wasn’t great was the veg tempura, there are plenty of other great things on the menu so skip this option. Cocktails were really good and service was amazing. Personally i thought it lacked...a bit of atmosphere on a saturday night. Very pricey but expected so at least the food lived upto expectations.More

May not be up to par with the other Nobu restaurants, but there are very few places in Hungary where one can experience this level of fine dining. The black cod is 100% the best fish I've ever had the pleasure of tasting. As for...the sushi, rice had perfect texture and nearly all of the flavor combinations hit the mark. The service was so professional that it made us a bit tense (We're not used to restaurants like this, it was a very exceptional occasion), but that's on us. Prices are... Well, very expensive, but at least I wouldn't call it unreasonable. Would love to return, hope we get another chance in the future.More

Beautiful sushi but nervous the whole time - sushi chef no mask- on the chin and one not covering the nose. Not good.

The service was very poor and the food is nothing likes Nobu does usually ! It was like you go to a normal sushi restaurant ! The waiters were not aware at all, I had to call them all the time to get more wine...or change my dish. and the food wasn’t good at all ! Very very disappointed ! The bill was very expensive ! We are in Hungary, not in London ! Don’t go there.. it’s a waste of money!More

I called to make a reservation on Thursday (Aug 13) - the guy who answered was not friendly and was rushing so quickly to get off the phone that he actually hung up on me while I was still asking a question - so I...had to call back. Once we arrived on Friday for our dinner, the server did not ask if we had been to Nobu before, he did not introduce himself, and he did not explain how the Nobu dining experience takes place - which the Nobu in Dallas and in Malibu had fortunately prepped us for. He got our drink order and then came back and asked "what can I get you"... I ordered: Yellowtail jalapeno Tuna tartare Spicy tuna miso chips Shrimp tempura with creamy spicy sauce Black cod miso and then green tea ice cream for my boyfriend and the bento box dessert for myself. The yellowtail jalapeno was spot on - delicious. The tuna tartare "sauce" wasnt as good as I remember it being every other time I have had it...its like it was not mixed before putting it in the bowl - as I got to the bottom of it, it started to taste better The spicy tuna on the miso chips covered the whole chip so you couldnt even see it - let alone hardly taste it The shrimp tempura with creamy sauce was a much smaller portion than I remember, and was a bit chilly Cod Miso was perfect - as were the desserts For over $200 a meal, I expect much better service and consistent dishes with the other Nobu restaurants. We shouldnt have to watch 5 waiters and the bartender stand around watching a game on the TV while we refill our own water. Very disappointing.More

Just because its called NOBU, you have this idea that you will have an amazing experience with excellent service and food. Unfortunately for me it was more like an average lunch, with average service and only good food. Our waiter did not understand what my...friend ordered even after asking back three times, so at the end she got something completely else from what she wanted. Also we were still expecting a third person to join, but they took away his plates and glasses... so weird.. The food is as you expect super pricey and a lunch menu is more like a fine-dining dinner price. Portions are ok but not mind-blowing. Tho the ingredients and food was very fresh and tasty, so I cannot fault that. Overall its overpriced, the staff is not on the top of their game and its definitely not a place where you could enjoy yourself, everyone is so uptight...More

There were so much bad reviews about this Nobu that we really hesitated to try. Eventually, we did go for the lunch, perhaps just to get away from the heavy and hearty Hungarian cuisine for a break. We were wrong! This Nobu certainly does not...live up to expectation of the Nobu's name. We opted for the Deluxe Bento: a strange combination of words as Bento in Japan literally means a fast lunch box and there should be nothing deluxe about it - perhaps the management does not understand the Japanese language? The major fault of the Bento is in the prawn Tempura. The one who did the cooking should note that Tempura does not equate to simply deep frying: the secret is always in how well the batter is made. well, in the prawn tempura, there was not any hint of a batter! The second mistake was the flavorless and tough chicken meat pieces. All in all, this is not high-end Japanese cuisine at all. So we did not even bother trying to have dinner.More
