Complete Rip off, we were a large party who spent a great deal of money at this establishment! the Music advertised as free isn't as the musicians hassle you constantly for money even flashing notes in your face...Rude!! the staff will rip you off and charge you for complimentary drinks as you leave 58 Euros for 6 shots is disgusting!... The food was ok, nothing exceptional but ok if you're tired and hungry. My 7yr old said the restaurant was dirty and it was. It is full... More

Ate here with 7 friends, nothing good about it at all!!! Cold, stale, pizza was a lump of dough with burnt cheese. Beef stew had what can only be described as cartilage in!! Owner/waiter rude and very obnoxious. A friend had a hair in her stew and he had the audacity to tell her the chef has hair net so... More

We sat there for lunch - price seems very reasonable for lunch. We didn't expect a goumet lunch but we didnt know the place is a real tourist trap ... a lot of people talk about the food so basically we agree with them. But the worse is the feeling to be part of a scam when the bill arrive... More

Do not go here. We were looking for a late lunch, and got persuaded to take a seat by one of the two guys outside, with a small note of 4 different choises of two course meals for just 1.990 HUF's. Just as we sat down, we immediately noticed that both some larger "poster-style" menus with pictures of the food... More

At first sight it seemed like a nice place and our first dish (gullasch soup) tasted good... but in next dish I found a long hair in my food, in some dumplings. The waiter reacted by telling us that he did not mind and we probably planted the hair by ourself, and the other waiter said that it was from... More

Staying in District V / Inner City

Neighborhood Profile
District V / Inner City
Discover the Inner City along the banks of the Danube, with its fashionable shops and iconic buildings. The Inner-City Parish Church and St. Stephen’s Basilica stand out as two of the finest examples of architecture in the area. If you are still hunting for more historical treats, then the ruins of the medieval city walls on Kecskeméti Utca are a must-visit while the Soviet War Memorial is also worthy of attention and relevant to Hungary’s more recent history. If shopping is on your itinerary, then be prepared: the market squares in this area are an absolute delight, particularly during the Christmas period, but even throughout the year you’ll find the latest trends in the shops on Vaci Utca.
