Charming place, suberb location, nice staff. International cuisine. A bit noisy when bigger group arrives, as some rooms are small.

Lovely location, very nice outside sitting, modern menu and well made. However prices are quite high, for Hungary is simply extortionate. We had a nice meal, but price would probably cover two meals elsewhere.
We were looking for Hungarian Food. This was a perfect place close to our hotel. We got there at 6:30 pm on a Friday night and it did not get busy until around 8 pm. The waiter made greate suggestions for Gulasch Soup and Main...courses paired with great Hungarian wine and finished with Apricot Schnapps. A lovely evening. But be careful! A 12% service charge was included that we did not notice until we AFTER we had added a tip!More
My wife and I dropped in (it just happened to be a Valentines day). Unfortunately we had already eaten at the Market as the food and menu looked amazing so we only had some hungarian wine which was recommended by the waiter.. This really is...a special find and an utterly charming venue in a great location - a short walk from the Market and Liberty Bridge. The staff were super helpful and we met the owner who gave us some amazing tips on places to visit, all of which we did and all of which were great. A definite must if you are in Budapest.More
chicken paprikash with goat cheese dumplings 咸口的鸡胸肉,配芝士面团 这个菜本身是不辣的,吃起来就很普通,只有咸味,配上芝士,味道也很寡淡,加上单独给了辣酱,能好吃点
Food and service were great and fast! For good price! Recommended this restaurant to everyone! Professional and polite staff.
The food was amazing! Polied and professional staff can recommend this restaurant to everyone. The Duck was good! Thanks a lot for making our evening great!
Very good goulash and chicken soups, served with fresh bread. Delicious fresh green salad with pomegranate seeds in December. Fast service.
Good team, delicious food, fast service! The atmosphere is really nice also, back garden looks better than the front tables outside.
Meeting someone local nearby so we stopped here to get some refreshing lemonade. Really nice, so our friend arrived and said it was a good place to eat too. We had the cold peach soup as we’d had a big breakfast and we felt adventurous....It was delicious- topped with basil cream and salted peanuts. Yummy! Nice staff and clean toilet too.More
Welcoming staff, seating outside the front, inside the Cafe and also there is an indoor garden! Very attentive staff, beautiful food and drinks. We are here tonight and such a range of people. Some eating dinner, some, I believe, local ladies playing cards, and we...two just having a drink. Second time here and would highly recommend.More
I wanted to have Hungarian/Eastern European food, but more than the typical meat & potatoes. I got it here, tasty, well-plated, & creative. I went with the waiter’s recommendations. I started with the asparagus soup. I’m usually not a “soup guy,” but it was tasty...& fitting on a cool night. I then had the duck, two large, seared pieces with the crunchy skin on top, on a bed of purée, which I thought was a carb but was actually celery-based. Between the two pieces of duck was what looked like a breadstick, but was actually a cottage cheese stick, broiled on the outside. Very tasty dish.More
We visited last night for a meal and found it more expensive than last time. Of course, prices rise but for cauliflower and salmon in bread sauce and my husband's pork schnitzel and chips, it was too dear. The blackcurrant juice was good and Earl...Grey tea served with honey and lemon too was good. My husband had bacardi and coke but said it was white rum and not the Original bacardi white rum. We sat outside in the garden. The waiter kindly charged my phone for me. He was polite, efficient but not very friendly we found. He didn't say thank you or goodbye. When we visited 3 years ago we found it to be better in the way of food and service but maybe that's just the way of life. When you visit a 2nd time, it's not as good as you originally thought. We won't go again. There are far better places in Budapest to eat. For instance Dionysus Greek Restaurant. Beautiful and decent prices, ambience, really 👍 food, but that's for another review.More
Excellent food and service we could not fault it. Came back for a second night and again it was excellent.
The waitress was super kind and explained all the dishes. We are a family of four and had a great Hungarian lunch. Great Goulash for us and Chicken Paprikash for the kids. 100% recommended.
