Just a small hole in the wall. Inside a small cozy restaurant with superserviceminded personel. Also a fantastic garden where you can sit and have a relaxing meal. Nice wine list.
Seems like you're always welcome at Intense.
What a delight on a hot, sunny day to sit in the shade at Cafe Intenzo and enjoy their lemonade. It arrives with slices of lemon, orange, and lime and optional shavings of ginger. Get the ginger. Super-savory !
This restaurant was recommended by a friend who lives in Budapest. I had a great dinner with my dad this summer.
The quality of the food is good and the way is prepared is even better, attentive care of the detail, good ingredients and execution...- trust a very fussy italian eater!
I'll be honest, I had no great expectations from the outside, but the internal outdoor seating, situated in the internal courtyard crowned by a statue of what looked like Minerva and a well taken care of garden make Cafe Intenzo a truly hidden gem.More
We had a marvelous dinner with 6 friends. Everything was fresh and tasty and the service was excellent
If you want really authentic Hungarian dishes

Had dinner here and their tenderloin beef was just delicious it had a pasta that was also extremely good.
The service was impeccable and I got to meet the owner a very unique individual that collects antiques and uses them as part of the decor
My friend and I discovered this restaurant whilst spending a few days in Budapest. We loved it so much that we went back for a second visit before returning home! The food was delicious and there was a good variety of different dishes. Would highly...recommend this place! Oh and the lemonades were fab!More
Had a quick meal here at lunchtime on a Monday. The food served is very Hungarian, mostly meat etc. Managed to get a salad though. Service was quick. Probably better for locals on a work lunch break than for tourists looking for a relaxing meal.
