I wanted to have Hungarian/Eastern European food, but more than the typical meat & potatoes. I got it here, tasty, well-plated, & creative. I went with the waiter’s recommendations.
I started with the asparagus soup. I’m usually not a “soup guy,” but it was tasty...& fitting on a cool night. I then had the duck, two large, seared pieces with the crunchy skin on top, on a bed of purée, which I thought was a carb but was actually celery-based. Between the two pieces of duck was what looked like a breadstick, but was actually a cottage cheese stick, broiled on the outside. Very tasty dish.More
