It was our first day in Budapest and we had just completed a bike tour. I had done my checks on this establishment and had decided that it was the best place to start my dive into Hungarian cuisine as it is both traditional and...contemporary without being contrived. Service was decent and the food was very good. My first experience of goulash and I definitely wanted more. Highlight for us though was the duck burger; ham, cheese, and even lamb burger step aside, duck burger is the real deal. Loved it so much we ordered it twice. Wine list here is also very good and so are the cocktails.More

Wonderful food. Hungarian with a twist. Quality and presentation excellent. And very good wine. We had foie grass as appetizer, and then duck breast steak and pork knuckle. Both delicious and well presented. Service was also great and we got also a little starter and...ending taste on the house. And the terrace is great for dinner. I was surprised it was not packed - it deserves more audience .More

Been in hungry for nearly a week. Best meal of the trip. Had the duck hamburger and my wife had the veal stew. We each had a Hugo to drink. Absolutely fantastic.

My friend and I both enjoyed the meal very much, the roasted duck liver was great, the main course pork wellington was delicious, the drinks were excellent, but the best of all was the service, we were delighted. The restaurant is right behind the central...market, don't miss it out, it was a much better choice than one of the Michelin restaurants we went to in Budapest. 超值,菜品,饮品都超赞,服务也很好,胜过米其林餐厅,推荐。More

It was an excellent meal, fresh ingredients, creative fusion Hungarian cuisine. Loved the cabbage strudel and the duck breast was tender and a real flavor paradise. Save a bit space for dessert, it's a MUST!

Well it was quite simple the best restaurant I have been to in Budapest, staff 10 out of 10 the place not loud just quiet, music in background. Staff know what they are doing , the meal was cooked and presented with out fanfare. And...it ticked all the right boxes well done to all staffMore

As the first night of our trip we were especially keen to check out a traditional Hungarian restaurant and we were not disappointed. We shared chicken supreme with a rich creamy sauce and confit of goose (a St Martin’s day special) with dauphinois. The food...was good, the layout was cool, would definitely recommend for an authentic dining experience.More

We found this restaurant in a Time Out article and decided to try it out on a Monday evening. Sadly the restaurant was almost empty, probably more reflection of the time than the restaurant. The welcome was warm and the food was excellent. We shared...a goats cheese starter, followed by a goose confit and risotto, finishing with a poached pear with chocolate. All of the food was excellent and the accompanying Hungarian Riesling lovely and dry. Definitely worth a visit.More

We were very excited to try this restaurant on our brief 4 day trip to Budapest, which we had seen listed on Time Out’s ‘best places to eat in Budapest’ so much so that we made an online reservation a few days before leaving from...Italy. We received a very kind reply from the restaurant saying they expected us at 19.30 on November 1st 2021 so we made our way there - on a cold, windy and rainy day with our 5 year old daughter - only to find the restaurant was closed. Needless to say we were not impressed. I understand these things can happen and probably the system produced an automated reply to our booking request but it was very disappointing to say the least. Of course we can say nothing about the food or service but please do a better job of sorting out your booking requests.More

Very nice little bistro with great food and atmosphere to boot. We had the goulash soup, Hungarian pork and duck burger which all tasted great. Would highly recommend this restaurant.

I came back after 2 years and found the place rather unchanged. A small simple two-level restaurant with brick walls. Waiters have to run up and down the steps, which may hamper the quality of the service on first floor. Quality of food is very...good thanks to the neighboring market. Reasonable prices. Wines a bit overpriced. All together which is clearly above the average restaurant experience in Budapest.More
