We sat outside on a balmy evening with a group playing inside. The music waftied out through the windows to entertain us with Hungarian sounds. The waiters were charming and patient ready to advise and suggest. The food was brought promptly. All dishes were delicious...More

We went to this restaurant next to the Hotel Gellert where we were staying. Food was very good with a traditional Hungarian menu. My wife had a lamb dish and I had veal. Prices were average for European restaurants. We had the added bonus of...More

In the reastaurant you can enjoy the traditional hungarian cuisine in cozy atmosphere. We ate there several times during our stay in Budapest and all the meals were very tasty, you should taste at least the Somloi galuska, its delicious dessert.

We went to the restaurant because we happened to see musicians next to it. The food was wonderful - we both had the Wienerschnitzel with other appetizers. All was very tasty. The wine was one of he best I have had in a long time,...More

Very bad, unsalty, greedy food, really bad coffee. Unashamed service who "recommends" the customer to pay the 10 % service fee. Live music, good dancers. I would not recommend for anyone to visit this restaurant.

No frills but decent food. They cater for small tour groups so independent travellers get the benefit of live music and folk dancing. Friendly service and straight forward billing. Refreshing in Budapest.

Nice restaurant near the Gallert Baths serving traditional Hungarian cuisine. Can be very busy. Had goulash soup, chicken paprikash with spatzle (the Hungarian National Dish) and crepe with walnut filling. Everything was very good. Gypsy musicians and dancers performed during the meal. Very pleasant evening

It is not the first time I go there for a fast business lunch. What I would recommend is the "harcsa halászlé" and the "hortobágyi palacsinta". Both are excellent, but I had good experience with other food as well. The portions are large. Prices are...More
