Good food and staff. Make sure to book in advance, as the place is small and appears to be used to having to turn people away (a good sign!). Very nice inside, and good food. If I am ever back in Budapest, I’ll be back.

Lovely little restaurant, friendly staff, good food. Chocolate fondant to die for!! Probably best to make reservations as it’s quite small and gets busy.

My daughter and I loved this restaurant. She researched the restaurant. We had a reservation and they seated us at the table with another couple. This was fine with us. This is a fun restaurant. The tables are covered with paper and they give you...More

Our favourite restaurant in Budapest. It's small (only seats 20-24 people), very quirky and with great food. Walls are hand decorated in ink and lampshades are made from cardboard boxes! Great place and always great food - 2 x 2 course meals, plus wine and...More

District VII / Jewish Quarter
District VII is the very heart of Budapest and houses
the city’s Jewish Quarter. Its streets are lively and
colorful, its buildings narrate different histories in
an assortment of architectural styles, and its cafes
and bars are frequented and loved by the enthusiastic
crowds. Grand and magnificent, the striking star of
the district is the Great Synagogue, the largest in
Europe and one of the biggest in the world. Distinctly

It is a tiny place so 15 might be almost all their capacity upstairs (there is a sqaure room and a tiny long room for a long table), you might have to pay in advance to privatize or arrive early.
