Had a wonderful evening here. The dishes were consistently tasteful, balanced, and with a clear goal to elevate good ingredients. The service was kind, clear, and professional. We were seated such that we could peek into the kitchen without hearing it, which I am personally...very fond of. The wines were all really great but I had a challenge finding the match to some of the dishes. Still, I would highly recommend this restaurant for an exclusive dining experience.More

We had the 6-course menu with wine pairing and it was the best dining experience, that we ever had. The food, service and atmosphere made it an amazing evening and everything was perfectly balanced. Besides the 6-course menu, we got several small servings before the...actual dinner started. To top it all off, our waitress, Sini, did a fantastic job of describing the menu and the story behind each dish. I would definitely recommend the restaurant to anyone looking for a dining experience beyond the usual.More

Stand is my go to restaurant when visiting Hungary. This was my 4th visit this year only, and it's still just October...:) The whole dining experience is exceptional from staff and service to food. Over the years, I never left this place without full satisfaction....There is simply no real competition in Budapest. The menu now has the 2022 Bocuse D'or second place dish, which is probably the most beautiful dish I've ever seen. My further personal favorites are the langos, gulyas, and somloi. Hope to have this place around for the many years ahead.More

Genuinely one of the best dining experiences of my life. I was quite literally brought to tears. The food and service were equally unbelievable. Shout out to Zsófia, our wonderful server who took our experience to the next level. She was so sweet and knowledgeable...and made us feel so cared for from start to finish. And can't forget the wonderful sommelier and his incredible wine pairing. Each one was unique and beautiful in it's own way. Couldn't recommend this spot more - seriously, it's a must-try in Budapest!More

We have visited Stand second time in the last 5 months. Both visit was amazing, however the last one was even better than the first. The service was perfect but 110% perfect and a food was at least a level of a 3 michelin star...restaurant. I'm vegetarian and my 5 course dining experience was unforgettable. I would like to thank you this experience for the whole team!More

The highlight of our trip! We were lucky enough to get a table at short notice as they had had a cancellation. The eight course tasting menu, was preceded by several ‘amuse bouches’ We knew we were going to be in for a big treat…....Every course was surprising, beautifully presented, and absolutely delicious. The wine was a great accompaniment to the meal, thanks to the recommendation of the sommelier Gabor. Like other Michelin star restaurants we have been to, we know it requires a great team of people all working together to achieve. This shone through with great effect. Special thanks to Ben, the sous-chef, and Veronika our waitress for making the evening so special. Nick and DavidMore

We had an 8-course dinner with winepairing. The food was really amazing, full of depths and flavours. The staff was excellent with great service and knowledge. They have one star in Michelin, but they really deserve two! Fingers crossed they get in soon 🤞🏻🤩

A perfect experience - just perfect - wow... Stand 21 have a Michelin star and they are obviously working hard to do earn the next one. We were made very welcome by the staff who try their best to make guests feel special. The restaurant...is comfortable and elegant but not in any way pretentious. There is plenty of space between tables and the music is discreet so you can talk without hearing people on the next tables. The service was absolutely impeccable through the entire meal. The sommelier made expert recommendations. The eight courses were accompanied by presents from the kitchen which were exquisitely presented. They looked like works of art - filigree with gold dust and pearls - then the flavours - layered and moving around the palate like a refined wine with long finishes. The waiter kindly explained the composition of each dish and everything was an adventure in flavour. We loved also the contemporary interpretation of traditional Hungarian food like the làngos, goulash soup or somloi gàluska dessert which were the best versions imaginable of those dishes and were perfect. The beechwood smoked tomato broth was a revelation. If I were to make any suggestion it would be maybe to introduce an element like sour cream (crème fraiche/greek yoghurt) to balance the sweetness of some of the desserts (but please do not change the somloi galuska!) Also maybe hold back a fraction on the salt in the gulyas soup? It was a very memorable evening for us and we are so happy we discovered this place.More

Food was mind blowing, as was the wine paired with it. Extremely professional and friendly staff. I'm also grateful for the birthday cake that wasn't asked for by my girlfriend but given to me just because of them hearing it was my birthday. I was...too full to eat more than a bite from it which I felt bad about, because it really was the best of all the desserts. Only downside was the amount of wine for each course which meant we had to leave a few glasses half full so we wouldn't get too drunk from it. Half the amount would have been fine. The wine was great though. If your budget allows it you definitely need to try this onone. Just don't overeat on the bread like we did as the small portions will deceive you into thinking you won't get fed enough which you certainly will, they add up quickly.More
