I asked for a rare hamburger, specifying that I wanted it almost crude. The waitress served a dry overcooked hamburger that had the consistency andbtaste of a shoe's sole so I complained with a waiter and he said that kitchen is already closed, then didn't...take any initiative. Another waiter took away the sole and when I complained again at the cashier the woman said " I am sorry" with the tone and attitude like she was sayin "I don't give a f*ck" and made me paying for the sole like nothing was wrong in their side.More

Good range of beers (32) from a range of countries and you can order a float to sample ranges of 5. Very friendly service - lovely manager and waitress. Can sit outside in the side street on a sunny day or downstairs in the basement...(which looked quite nice too). Food was quite good too - little delay in arriving but did not mind that as the quality was very good.More

Stopped by at lunchtime and worked our way through the beer menu and had some ratatouille too. Service was very good and as it was such a nice day the waitress remained outside with us. There is a great selection of beers to chose from...and the prices are very reasonable. Food was really tasty too. Really worth visiting after climbing the hillsMore

Extremely slow. Highly prices according to products. Prémium beers but the catering takes the experience even on a weekday night

Visited as part of bachelor party, we had booked table and were late however I called them to let them know and they said OK. We arrived 22:30 and were about to order food at 22:33, they refused that in an unacceptable rude style after...only 3 min "closure" of the kitchen. Answer was like "you were also late, we close our kitchen, why should we serve you?" This is tipical Hungarian hospitality in an manner you'd never experience in an other country. Shame on them, not a penny to be spent at them anymore. I hope many reads this and they lose a lot of guests. Discusting style and speaking to guests!!!More

Went at lunch time after walking up to the citadella and it was the perfect choice. Good local lunch at a really cheap price (1500HUF for 2 course meal) and really good variety of tap beers. Me and my partner both ended up ordering 5...beers tasting menu and did not regret our choice. Would love to come again!More

This place is very close to Liberty Bridge and the Gellert Hotel. The door is quite nondescript, but the bar looks great and is very large. Unlike many cellar bars, it is bright and freshly decorated. It's very appealing and welcoming with plenty of seats....Cellar bars can often be quite dark and dank but this one is not at all. There's music to compliment the buzz of conversation. It's a nice space for groups both large and small. The beers are displayed above the bar on a screen quite like an airport departure boards. There is info on style, brewery, strength and country of origin. Staff are well able to provide more info and tasters, if necessary. Beer flights are available. The selection is very high quality, too, from both local and international firms. It seems to be quite a new place and is a really great place to enjoy beers. I've not seen anywhere else similar in Buda.More

I'm glad we stumbled upon this place, the service was great and they had something like 32 beers on tap. The food was fantastic, best we had in Budapest.

Discovered this restaurant after visiting Gellert baths. The 3 course menu is insanely cheap and full of good flavours. Choice of mains but set starters and desserts. The inside is exposed red brick - was lovely and peaceful when we were there. The fact that...they also have a huge range of beers was an additional pleasure. The wait staff were all lovely and friendly, and the service was almost too fast. Would visit again, and recommend to anyone visiting Gellert baths or the Citadella!More

Lots of local craft beer and others from Hungary. The bartenders were friendly and helpful in selecting a beer. The hamburgers looked amazing. We didn’t eat the first time we went, but had lunch there later in the week. It seemed like a very limited...menu and the food was ok. Wish the hamburger was available then. Maybe next trip to Budapest.More
