Me and my boyfriend discovered this place few months ago and from that time we love to have our brunch there.Double shot bar is located in a street corner, few steps from Kalvin and Fovam Tér. For us this place has the best brunch and we love their fresh orange juices and benedict partisan eggs. We don't recommand the coffee if like us you prefer sweet tastes, cause their coffee is not Lavazza or Illy brand, it has a strong and bitter flavour.
The food is good and well made!
The service can be improved a little bit, but in general it's ok.

We stumbled into Doubleshot after an early flight to Budapest. We were instantly welcomed and given menus.... even though it was quite busy at the time. We were both wowed by the quality of the coffee, food and service. As it turned out, we were in Doubleshot at least once a day for the length of our visit. Every meal and coffee was fantastic! By the way, pretty much every dish comes out of the kitchen looking as though a Michelin starred chef prepared it..... even the granola and yogurt.

Our airbnb host recommended Double Shot for breakfast so we went this morning. The coffee was good and the breakfast was awesome! I had an omelet with mushrooms, salad, and gluten free bread. My husband had scrambled eggs with bacon, and also salad and toast. We both lived our meals, he had two cups of coffee, and the total was only 21 euros--including service charge. We were discussing the tip and the waiter said no need, its already included. Great value.

Excellent little brunch and lunch cafe that we ate at most days during our trip. They have amazing soups, delicious egg dishes and everything was very well seasoned. I have Celiac, and while they are not a gf kitchen and warned me of such, I ate here 4 days and didn't get sick of cross contamination, and I'm fairly sensitive. Their gluten free bread is also delicious!
Highly recommend for a quick brunch or lunch.

Small café near the central market, offering a fantastic selection of breakfast foods and drinks. We had an American coffee, a soy cappuccino, an avocado toast (still reductive to call it that because it was more elaborate than simple avocado toast) and a bowl of yogurt with granola and peaches. All delicious, the super abundant granola can even be divided between two people. Price around €25, high but considering the location and above all the quality it's very good. Stay full until late afternoon.
The guys who work there speak perfect English and are very kind and affable.

Coffee weak, cold, croissant stale, slow service. My wife’s omelette wasn’t great either. And we had a big fat man sat next to us when there was clearly no room, who was then lent against my wife.

We, me and my wife, ended up casually at this Café and it was a very fortunate event. People are very nice and helpful and the food is very good. We had Eggs Goulash, Ciao Bella (Focaccia), two local Colas, and two amazing expressos: 40€.

The breakfast was more than perfect. The taste of the Egg Benedict with the smoked salmon and sweetpotato was like a good book you would love to read over and over again! And the avocado toast was fresh and flavorfull! I almost forgot that ist was a wintery monday morning.

We had breakfast here. Although we had to wait quite a bit the Eggs Benedict were worth the wait.
A bit pricy compared to other similar places in Budapest but you do get value for money.
The coffee is pretty good, but there are better alternatives.

Great experience and friendly staff. The menu is comprehensive and quite varied. Portions are large. If you like strong coffee then this is the place for you. The only criticism is that the coffee could be a tad hotter but this may be a personal preference.

Very cool and friendly cafe. The coffee was the best I had in a long time and the eggs benedict were so delicious. I will definitely stop by when I am in Budapest again and I recommend you do too.
