After ordering and waiting for 2 hours I was told that the delivery guy has already delivered my order. It was probably taken by a neighbour they suppose. Everything is my fault because they suppose that I mistyped my address. So their hans are clean,...job is done from their side. Sitting here without food and my money is taken as well (prepaid). I have never seen this kind of arrogance and extremely bad service in Budapest before.More
These were the worst pizzas I have ordered since I am in Hungary. The dough was so thin and burnt! The ham was thicker than it! The side crust was so hard so that it was impossible to cut it. Both pizzas were almost cold....I am hugely disappointed, that too for Easter.More
Best pizza in Budapest, a high quality pizza made of fresh ingredients for a really affordable price. Family atmosphere, awesome service. The location is easily accessible. If visiting Budapest while taking a walk to Buda you cannot miss the chance of giving it a try....There are lots of vegetarian options with asparagus, spinach etc. Tastes like Italy! I've been here several times and I just love this place. Every pizza I tried was delicious, good quality for good price. The staff and the atmoshpere is lovely. I think it's a 'must-visit' place in Budapest.
You will have hard time to find a restaurant offering the same quality of pizzas in Budapest. And not just that, at Da Giovanni you will eat real Italian pizza which is quite unique anywhere outside of Italy too. We are obviously returning customers for...some time now. We just wanted a quick dinner - and we got an awesome meal with the best hospitality we ever experienced in the city. The pizza was awesome, the ingridients seemd to be really good quality, the vine was really nice, the prices are really reasonable...so all in all, GIVE A CHANCE FOR THIS SMALL PLACE!! Real Italian pizza in a nice place. I can't say that it's really cheap anymore, because now they ask the price, but compared to Italian prices and quality it's still really good.
