Absolutely a place i can advise! Dinner with piano, great food (Meat/Vege/fitness), a great and friendly service. So good that we had to come back and this time for lunch where we enjoyed excellent Hungarian meal!

A really beautiful place with nice architecture and really quiet. Nice to enjoy someting to eat and a nice wine in the sun. Very friendly waiting staff and also not to expensive! Its worth to visit.
Wev loved this place so much that we returned three nights later. Just the right amount of choice on offer, perfectly cooked, and perfectly served. Beautiful food in beautiful surroundings, just a few steps off the beaten track. Outstanding value for money!
We had a very nice meal at this restaurant a few years ago. Since then, the extravagant decoration has remained unchanged, but unfortunately the experience is no longer the same. The food is decent, but not outstanding, the service is kind, but not professional. In...a few years we will give the restaurant another chance.More
It's a nice place to begin with. The food is fantastic, the service is top-notch and very friendly at the same time. I recommend the Fried pork loin - they make it authentic Hungarian style. Yummy! And the Cottage cheese dumplings are to die for!...I can only recommend this place for everyone.More
The service is poor, we had to wait 10 mins to be seen, we ordered a couple of pizzas and an other main dish, which was served 5 mins before the pizzas…?….the ambient is good but as always in Hungary we did not feel that...we were customers…sad but true…:(More
Tasty food and great service. I have some food intolerance and waiters have been very attentive to it. The quiet location inside a court is also nice.
Food was all right and reasonably priced, but not great. The garden has nice atmosphere, but inside the restaurant is not very pleasant. The service was really disappointing, although the price of it is already calculated in the bill. Waiters just did not bother to...visit the table and take care about additional orders and were super slow.More
Really nice, quiet courtyard with good ambience. Very good food, nice and kind service, reasonable prices.
Food was imaginative and creative, for example edible flower decoration - duck and strawberries sauce - lemonade with real fruit chunks of lemon, orange and mint. Service was fast, good advice, acknowledged returning customer, inquired about guest experience. Location is intimate, outdoor terrasse is cool...even during a scorching hot summer heat wave.More
I am happy for the other people who had a good experience at the Apacuka but sadly we did not. It was our bad luck to get a waiter who just did not want to be there and just couldn't be bothered with anything. If...he had personal issues, well, leave it at home. Sorry, but if he is taking a salary from Apacuka, then he is paid to at least, smile to the customers, even if he is telling the customers to f.. off under his breath. I must admit, the appetizers such as the goat cheese or the meatballs were tasty but that is about it. My son had the hamburger and he gave it a 4/10, at best. I had pork belly and it was about a 6/10 but if you look at the price and what you get, the score drops to 4/10. My wife had the venison and that was a train wreck. So gamy and barely warm and at HUF 5,900, WTF? No need to give it a score. In addition, between appetizers to the main course, we waited more than 20 minutes. When I came back from the bathroom I asked the waiter if the food was soon to be served and all he did was to point to the table and did not even say one word. Well, the burger and pork dishes were indeed served but the deer was still in the forest for another 10 minutes. When the same waiter brought the venison, he did not say a word, like, sorry this came out late... just put the food down and left. On the way out, my son said, "Thank you very much" in Hungarian, to him and all he did was look and mumble something. Huh? Considering a 10% service fee was automatically added to the bill, at least he can pretend and smile. Of course, it would be wrong to give a low score for that one lame waiter but then again, the food was not so great either and for sure, no value when the price is taken into account. Being in district V, there are just too many other good restaurants around to have to come back to Apacuka to suffer and waste our money. Go elsewhere!More
Dear Sir, I'm reading your lines with deep regret. Our collegues are devoted professionals who are trying to provide a fantastic service at all times from the moment of arrival until saying goodbye. We are shocked about the events you have experienced and we will...More
Fantastic food and a wonderful selection of wines. New menu options are periodically available and they never fail to amaze with their creativity. Many different quality wines to choose from.
Dear Nastya, Thank you for your kind review and recommendation. We are very happy that you were satisfied with our services. We hope to see you soon. Apacuka Team
The food was very, the menu gives various options including tapas or normal portions. The staff was friendly and happy to help! A couple of the wine choices weren't available. We suggest to try the tapas!
We paid 17886 HUF including service charge (about £43) for two starters, two mains, two desserts and two large beers. You pick and choose three courses off the menu or you can go a la carte. We chose the 3 course option at 6500 HUF...per person. The place became very busy after 7.30pm with people waiting for a table, which is always a good sign of the quality of the meals. The food was Hungarian with a twist, perfectly sized portions and very delicious. Cannot find a single thing to complain about (except the toilets are downstairs which may pose a problem for those with mobility issues).More
Very busy bar/restaurant. Our server, Balint, was excellent - worked very hard to look after his customers and had to work extra hard sorting out a table of about 14 ladies at a 'hen party', who were extremely noisy, so much so we couldn't hear...the music (which was good and was loud). I have food problems, but Balint was very helpful and went to the kitchen to talk with the chef. I decided on the duck, which came pink, it was the best duck I have ever tasted and just melted. Brilliant chef!More
