Food was authentic Indian ( not too spicy, not bland either) and Chicken kabab was awesome. We had paneer makhanwala ( mild) , chicken tikka masala, chicken biriyani naan and chicken kababs... Family and l liked it very much ! Be prepared to wait a bit, if you are visiting Saturday or Sunday nights- call early is recommended . Quite... More

We therefore ordered from the menu which turned out to be more expensive and got normal daal instead of tadka daal which we ordered. The owner had to intervene and got us made the daal... More

Probably they could work a little on the ambience . There was a group having dinner at the same time and was do noisy, disturbing every one having dinner... More

I was in the area so fancied an Indian lunch. Now unlike the "Curry House" (see previous post) these guys welcomed a single diner. Perfect location on corner of nice building. Menu is very good and the quality and taste of my meal was superb. I am not one to hand out compliments without deserving it. It is highly deserved... More

Arrogant all white staff. Don't seem to know Indian food preferences. Tastes like Frozen food heated ready made , too spicy and oil. Other better restaurant available in Budapest. skip this one.

Thank Hemant D

Staying in District V / Inner City

Neighborhood Profile
District V / Inner City
Discover the Inner City along the banks of the Danube, with its fashionable shops and iconic buildings. The Inner-City Parish Church and St. Stephen’s Basilica stand out as two of the finest examples of architecture in the area. If you are still hunting for more historical treats, then the ruins of the medieval city walls on Kecskeméti Utca are a must-visit while the Soviet War Memorial is also worthy of attention and relevant to Hungary’s more recent history. If shopping is on your itinerary, then be prepared: the market squares in this area are an absolute delight, particularly during the Christmas period, but even throughout the year you’ll find the latest trends in the shops on Vaci Utca.
