We are the one and only luggage storage in the heart of the city providing separated lockers with numeric code. Besides that, you can try our delicious breakfast in our café to start your Budapest trip perfectly. We serve breakfast every day from 8:00 until 15:00.

We stopped here for breakfast on the walk up to the zoo. It’s not the easiest place to find but is well worth the search. As soon as we entered we were welcomed by the friendly and charismatic owner who asked us to wait 5 minutes as although the tables were full one couple were just paying. He had us seated after 5 minutes and was cracking jokes pretty much non stop.
The menu had a great selection with vegan as well as vegetarian options. They also had some delicious smoothies and the coffee was fantastic. Their main options are bagel related and the one I had was excellent!
Service was quick and the owner also wished us a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year after we paid. It doesn’t sound like much but surprising how few times restaurants wish you well once you’ve paid. Would highly recommend to anybody that’s even close to it.
Side note but they also have large locker storage in the back room if your hotel doesn’t have facilities to store your bags once you’ve checked out.

We visited this little cafe after seeing the excellent reviews on Trip Advisor and we were not disappointed. When we first arrived there was a queue outside waiting for tables we had a 10 minute wait but it was definitely worth it. We had the full English breakfast which was delicious and tried the apple pie recommended by the owner, his wife bakes it fresh every day. Such a friendly atmosphere and they couldn’t do enough for us. Would highly recommend.

Great coffee, good food. There aren’t a huge amount of vegetarian options on the menu but the staff speak good English and are happy to oblige with a small menu change. The coffee is really good, strong and smooth. Wifi is good too.

Great people, little queue but rewarding 2 seats by the window.
Scrambled eggs and a bagel for 2 people are a great option.
High class coffee as we had cappuccino.
Awesome idea that you can leave your luggage there with only one euro per hour and it is at the city center.

We had a lovely breakfast at this bright and welcoming place. My boyfriend had the Hungarian breakfast and I had the granola, both were so tasty!
The staff that served us, including the owner that is talked about in bad reviews, were so nice and helpful. The owner made some jokes including “a yellow card” when I tried my boyfriend’s food which we found funny and added to our experience at the lion’s locker. It seems to me the bad reviews stem from people mistaking his humour for rudeness. We didn’t feel he was being rude at all, he was just having a bit of banter with his customers!
The food tastes great and there are plenty of options! We would definitely recommend this place when in Budapest, go in with a sense of humour!

We had a fabulous visit here. We left our leg gage for the day and ate breakfast which was delicious and had alternative milks.
The male who I assume was the manger/owner was very friendly and attentive. If you book lockers online you get 10% off breakfast too

Amazing place for any tourists who are looking for a safe and cost effective to store you luggages for a few hours (5 euros for the day). My wife and I also had breakfast there and it was absolutely delicious food / coffee / smoothie, all very reasonably priced. Last but not least - the service was outstanding from the hostess & waiters; we also were greeted and asked how was our experience by the owner himself - very warm and welcoming. Extraordinary pleasant experience all together, so we highly recommend it.

It was a bit hard to access as per the works of the street but worth the trouble.
Very welcoming staff and attentive. Cute place and nice quality of food, service related to price. We paid around 21 euros for 2 coffees scrambled eggs and eggs Benedict. Although my partner felt portion was a bit small and, like in all places, if you start adding ingredients you pay extra. I’d prefer to pay a bit more for the plate but to have more included toppings. Besides that, highly recommended!

Lion’s Locker and Breakfast is a golden gem in Budapest. The staff is more than just friendly, they are really positive towards the guests in every aspect. We both felt that the staff really likes working there and they care about giving the customers a good time.
The manager impresses with wit, a lot of linguistic talent and always has a smile for the guests as well as for his team. It appears to be a warm working atmosphere for everyone. It really makes you feel like you are being taken care of as a person. It was also nice to see how all the guests said goodbye at the end of their visit, you could feel a mutual, friendly respect between the guests and the staff.
In addition to that the food is equally excellent. In short, we can recommend Lion’s Locker and Breakfast to everyone, both couples and families as well as people with a business break to work or briefly recharge their batteries.

We noticed this lovely cafe accidentally actually as ww werevstaying very close to the Opera and one day we needed to go to the super market.
Excellent meals, value for money, so kind and ready to assist with everything with smiley face always.
There is a short period of waiting time but do not give up, it will not be more thn 15'!
Very good idea with the baggage lockers. Strongly recommended!

Today I had a breakfast with my friend. The restaurant seemed quite busy and we still got a nice table by the window after like 5 minutes.
Let me just say we got an amazing service with an amazing food would highly recommend to everyone!

Came here for breakfast. I had the bacon and scrambled eggs (about £4), my mum had the eggs benedict with ham (about £6.50), my sister had the french toast (about £5), and my other sister had the salmon and avocado bagel (about £8.50). We also had drinks like the yellow smoothie (about £2). All was freshly made and beautifully presented, and the service was fantastic. A definite recommendation for anyone wanting a lovely breakfast.

As soon as we arrived the owner greeted us so sweetly, seated us and I’m currently on crutches so very kindly immediately offered to go and store them out of the way for me while we are. We were served quickly by friendly wait staff and coffees and food came out in great time and tasted amazing. Freshly prepared. Even if the food wasn’t that great I’d still recommend this place based on the atmosphere and general friendliness of everyone who worked there. Brilliant first stop for our first day in Budapest. Reasonable prices too!

We stopped by for a late breakfast.
Food was vey delicious (lion's breakfast, avocado bagel and scrambled eggs).
Staff was super friendly and also they spoke few words of Finnish, with perfect pronanciation👌
Will certainly visit again.

We walked past this cute and cosy breakfast place and decided to try it out even though we were making our way to another place we found on trip advisor and we were so happy that we stopped by. The food was amazing and the service was great. The next day we wanted to try it again but unfortunately we were waiting for 20 minutes and by the time we got our table my daughter was feeling very poorly so we had to leave our breakfast and rush out. The staff were really understanding.
It’s the best breakfast in Budapest a I would highly recommend it.
