Excellent cafe, cozy interior, friendly staff, quick preparation and such beautiful presentation of the dish. Prices are not high compared to the food court at the central market, where French fries and nagits with ketchup cost 6,000 forints (15€). Here for three dishes plus tea and coffee we paid 30€

Spontaneously rigged to drop off the luggage followed by breakfast. Depending on the day of the week and the time, the Cfé is in quite high demand. It has a choice for every taste. We stopped by this cafe on the way back from the thermal spa, it was late afternoon and we luckily got in not long before they stopped serving food which is 3pm. My husband went for the Avocado and Egg bagel and I went for the Goats cheese and they were both insane. They certainly did not scrimp on the portions and they were tasty as hell, we only needed a small bite in the evening to keep us going! It's on a quiet side street so not immediately obvious but they are always the best places tucked away! ;)

"The owner was horribly rude to the staff, and the food is absolutely average; I wouldn't recommend it to anyone because there are much better options in terms of value for money. We constantly heard the yelling from the 'owner' (or whoever they were), and the way they treated the staff was disgusting. Because of this, we will never come back here, mostly on principle."

Amazing place for any tourists who are looking for a safe and cost effective to store you luggages for a few hours (5 euros for the day). My wife and I also had breakfast there and it was absolutely delicious food / coffee / smoothie, all very reasonably priced. Last but not least - the service was outstanding from the hostess & waiters; we also were greeted and asked how was our experience by the owner himself - very warm and welcoming. Extraordinary pleasant experience all together, so we highly recommend it.

We visited Lions Locker on 1 August 2024, and we will be happy to come back! The expedition was good and friendly, the food came lightning fast and tasted really delicious. There was a large selection of both food and beverages. It is also possible to order take-away.

Found recommended on TA, we went to this place for the locker facilities. Perfect for storing luggage on last day rather than carting it around Budapest, max 5 euro charge it was affordable, safe and secure. You add your own security code.
We had teas/drinks here too, didn't eat however all food coming out looked amazing. Nice friendly team too.

It was a bit hard to access as per the works of the street but worth the trouble.
Very welcoming staff and attentive. Cute place and nice quality of food, service related to price. We paid around 21 euros for 2 coffees scrambled eggs and eggs Benedict. Although my partner felt portion was a bit small and, like in all places, if you start adding ingredients you pay extra. I’d prefer to pay a bit more for the plate but to have more included toppings. Besides that, highly recommended!

I was spending my last day in Budapest and wanted to find a local 'cafe' for breakfast and was recommended this place. Upon arrived I was greeted with a friendly smile and generally nice people. I ordered breakfast and I'm a fussy coffee drinker so gave specific instructions on how I like my coffee and they accommodated me perfectly. I was really impressed. They really cared for the customer which you can't ask more for. It was so good, that I ordered a second, something I rarely do.
Highly recommended for a local Hungarian-type breakfast with great flavour and excellent service.
Thank you and I will return next time I'm in the area.

Wonderful food wonderful staff great location...one can ask no more!!! The BEST brunch in Budapest!! Eggs Benedict with salmon is dreamy and they are happy to supply extra hollandaise for a small extra

Wow, What a place. Excellent service. Very freindly staff. Superb food and great value for money. We all loved our choices and wished we had found the place sooner. 5 of us each had something different, English Breakfast, Hungarian Breakfast, Smoothies, Latte... the list goes one. All of it delicious. Food was delivered promptly. The owner came and spoke with us. Like a lot of places in Budapest it seems, they feel entitled to add a service charge even before we receive any service, which is a shame. However, was so impressed with the place gave the waiter an addiotional tip anyway. Highly recomend (just have to ignore the service charge bit).

We had a fabulous visit here. We left our leg gage for the day and ate breakfast which was delicious and had alternative milks.
The male who I assume was the manger/owner was very friendly and attentive. If you book lockers online you get 10% off breakfast too

Delicious brunch. Everything cooked to perfect , extremely tasty and nicely presented (I had the truffle egg Benedict and can highly recommend). The place is busy and buzzy but the owner still finds time to talk to everyone. Lovely family business - a must for brunch.

As soon as we arrived the owner greeted us so sweetly, seated us and I’m currently on crutches so very kindly immediately offered to go and store them out of the way for me while we are. We were served quickly by friendly wait staff and coffees and food came out in great time and tasted amazing. Freshly prepared. Even if the food wasn’t that great I’d still recommend this place based on the atmosphere and general friendliness of everyone who worked there. Brilliant first stop for our first day in Budapest. Reasonable prices too!

We found this place relying on reviews and photos on the Listing. As for the savoury breakfast, this corresponds exactly to what is on the menu and the photos offered by the management.
