We went to kupak cause it was one of the few places we managed to find that served schnitzel . We had two schnitzels and a small goulash soup . All dishes were fine but nothing extraordinary. We liked the fact that we were prompted...to wash our hands before taking our seats however the toilet didn't seem (nor smelled) clean enough .More

This is a little gem. Basic good value well cooked food with a friendly smile and character. Just relax and try the pizza or the pasta or in my case the beef goulash and dumplings. Good atmosphere also

The waitress (Fanni) was lovely, funny and lovely to a group of our friends. She joked around whilst delivering great beers with a smile, one of the warmest welcomes we got in Budapest.

Had a lovely dinner here, good service and staff were very lovely. Ordered 2 chicken schnitzel mains, 3 beers, a mulled wine and waffles all for about £30 including service charge well worth it. Would 100% recommend the waffles too they were to die for...!More

A pleasant surprise on our arrival to Budapest. First pit stop and water hole was the Kupak itself... the food did not disappoint. Good value for a great price. The outstanding service from all staff, in particular Fanni! She has set our expectations for other...establishments in Budapest so high! Great knowledge of the local area, as well as suggestions for good beer and food! My party and I shall definitely visit again before we leave. Thank Kupak!!More
