About
The Kurucz brothers wanted to create a new wave brewery where customers can get answers to their questions, learn about the ingredients and the brewing technology. A place where knowledge and expertise are available to anyone who is interested. In order to learn and gather experience they travelled to the world's most professional new-wave breweries. As a result, in 2017 they founded FIRST The Craft Beer Co., Hungary's first exhibition brewery and Taproom. Since the opening, more than 2000 people have been involved in the educational brewery tours, but something was missing! A place that connects the craft beer philosophy with Budapest's new wave nightlife. A spot in downtown where you can learn

Good place with a several beer options but a bit expensive for budapest, they have a vegetarian option of grilled vegetables with fresh fries, and a delicious buttered corn, they have more option for people who eat meat. Noel the person who served us was...very kind at all times, a colleague of his took our drink before we finished it and Noel replaced it without any problem, we would come back because of his good service!More

A nice place with 20 taps and friendly service. Don’t believe the closing times though. It’s a Friday night and they advertise a closing time of 2am, but they decided to close at 1am because there were not enough people in the bar and denied...me service at 00:30. It’s disappointing as if i’d known they were closing an hour before their apparently “flexible” advertised closing time I would not have come this evening. It’s a nice place but I really dislike bars that don’t stick to their advertised closing times.More

A lovely friendly welcome, choice of tables, help with the menu if we needed it. Pork schnitzel & chips, branzino, beetroot puree & coconut cous cous. All delicious, served hot and fresh. We've noticed all restaurants/cafes in Budapest include service charge on the bill. Nothing...to fault.More

I had an exceptional dining experience at this restaurant with amazing service. The staff, particularly Daniel and Noel, were incredibly welcoming and went above and beyond in helping us choose dishes. Their recommendations, especially the nachos with beef, were outstanding. The salads were truly to...die for – fresh, flavorful, and impeccably prepared. The attention to detail and personalized service made our visit memorable. I highly recommend this establishment for its outstanding hospitality and delectable menu. Daniel and Noel's assistance added a special touch, making our meal delightful. Not only were the beers lovely (especially the fruity ones) the passionfruit mojito were AMAZING!More

This a brewpub, you can get the wide selection of craft beers from a local brewery and they also some tasty food choices. It is as expensive like as a restaurant in a touristy location.

I stumbled across this bar on a Saturday night in December. A lively, vibrant bar with an incredible range of craft beers - over 20 of them - listed on the wall behind the bright attractive bar area. Friendly service and a great place to...while away a couple of hours - and the goats cheese vege burger was amazing!More

Pub and bar hopping around this part of the city on a freezing cold November night we decided to drop into this bar and what a great find. Walking in and I knew I would enjoy my visit here, interior is light and airy, a...cool looking serving bar dominates the main room, pubby decor and furnishings and plenty of seating options spread throughout this bar, its a great bar to chill out in and relax. We ordered an ipa each, these were served in excellent condition being iced cold and sparkling, we chilled out and soaked up the great vibe in this busy and popular bar. My ipa was really good, well balanced, hoppy but not overhopped, hints of toffee and a delicious aroma and aftertaste with a slight bitter finish to it we both enjoy, a totally refreshing brew. We really enjoyed our ipa's in here before we moved on and although our visit was only fleeting for a first time visit to here we had a great time. First Craft Beer & BBQ is easy to locate along Dob Utca. Opening hours are; Monday to Sunday, open from midday. Well worth checking out if you're in the Jewish Quarter.More

This very good craft beer bar has to me an industrial style interior with nice decor and furnishing's.With exposed brick walls and a brilliant use of lighting and brilliant seating option's throughout the whole bars interior and superb staff who are very friendly. Its a brilliant craft beer bar to relax and unwind with a few beers or a tasty meal. When me and my twin brother went to here early in the afternoon it was very busy and this is how we like pubs and bars as there's a much better atmosphere. When we where here we had a few pints of craft beers that were superb but very expensive.
