I have found the restaurant by chance, I have had an official business nearby. I have decided to invite my family to have a lunch on the occasion of my elder son’s birthday. The environment is very convenient and calm. The first impress is that...the staff is very polite, doing their jobin a very smooth manner. The dishes were excellent.More

Mediocre food, plenty frills, shameful coffee, rude staff. This used to be a good place. Today the gulyas was uninteresting, the beef was ok the espresso was not an espresso. Probably stand25 is one of the few retaurants in Europe where if you complain about...the quality of the espresso (this one was a long dilute liquid) they don’t take it off from the bill immediately This is does not cost too much, and the customer feels that his opinion matters. I am afraid that Stand25 is going down the elevator shaft like several other hungarian eaterys of this sort.More

Amazing food and service. This is a really high end restaurant but you get “ big enough” portions instead of the two bites/ course. Everything is very hungarian but with a modern twist. Sophisticated and very tasty. Our biggest surprise was the “arany galuska” dessert....Hands down the best dessert we ever had! Hurry to taste it! It is very seldom that all three dishes in the menu are five stars, but in this case it was. The service is high end too. A new favourite!More

Nice food and a decent menu but its not as good as I was expecting. Oddly the staff clearly feel that everyone should be grateful to have a table. If you walk from the Old town you have to go through the tunnel (very noisy...and polluted) or walk around the long way which adds about 20 minutes. The restaurant is on a busy road which means the outside terrace isn’t very pleasant. All in all it was a bit of a disappointmentMore

As you can tell, I was NOT impressed with Stand 25. Firstly, this is not Michelin Star worthy. Let’s start with the service. The waiting staff, seemed largely inattentive and uninterested. They didn’t explain anything on the menu, or the drinks, or give any recommendations,...and I just didn’t like the general vibe in there. It felt really cold void of any personality. Overall the service was very bad and we were forced to pay for this, in the form of a undisclosed 15% service charge (which is mandatory) which was only announced to us upon receiving the bill. Next, the food. Mediocre to put it plainly. The food was fine, the risotto was undercooked and there was just a general lack of attention to detail. I wouldn’t expect to even pay HALF of what we ended up paying. I assume, that after they received their Michelin star they increased the price to take advantage of tourists who don’t yet know the pitfalls of this place. TL;DR Avoid. Lackluster food. Terrible service. Extortionate prices. Unfortunate experience.More

We are traveling with family, that means a 77 year old and a 14 year old. Gabriella front of the house of the restaurant greeted us with an angry face and told us - even though the restaurant was almost empty at that time -...that we were 20 min early and she cannot accommodate us. I had to ask a second time because I did not believe my ears. She said we could not even sit at the bar to wait because "we were too many". Maybe the logistics were difficult, or even impossible, but the attitude of a person who is supposed to greet you at an otherwise top notch restaurant, was appalling. Gabriella does not deserve to be the front face of Stand25 based on our experienceMore

Bad experience I must say…. The waiter in charge seemed mad the whole time and didnt smile at all. The food was ok but pretty regular, not special at all. Not cozy sitting outside due to noise from cars driving by. Good wine, but the...sommelier seemed like he would rather be at home alone than having conversations with the guests. The first time I have been on a Michelin restaurant where I have to say, that the toilets was the best experience - very clean and with a great smell of roses🌹More

Confused as to why it gets a Michelan mention. It’s not even close to getting 1 star. Food was expected and no wow power. Staff not attentive or welcoming. The wine waiter knowledgeable and offered good advice to consider. Restaurant is comfortable, food is ok...but expect an eating experience, not a dining experience.More

We went to Stand 25 because it was Michelin recommended and we were expecting a unique dining experience where we enjoyed excellent Hungarian food with exceptional service. The food was good, but not exceptional. In fact, we had a better Hungarian meal, for half the...price, the previous night in the Buda district. The problem was the service. The menu was brought to us but not explained. Bread was brought to us but not explained, which was signficant for us as one of our party doesn't eat pork and we discovered that one of the toppings was made from pork. Service was extremely innatentive. We went without drinks and without plate clearings for extended periods of time. Our waiter spent much more time chatting on the other side of the restaurant rather than looking after his customers. This was not an exceptional dining experience, in fact it was just lackluster. We had all eaten at great restaurants and Stand 25 is not comparable. When the bill was brought the lady, whoever she was, asked how it was and we said the food was good but the service was not up to par. She said she would look into it. Rather than do an adjustment she sent our waiter over to ask what was wrong. I had never seen this done before and at first we thought it was a walk of shame for the waiter. In the end we realized that he was just checking up on us and did not agree with our assessment. There was no adjustment and they made us feel like we were too picky, which made us very angry. A business who does not listen to their customers and doesn't care what we say will only lose customers over time. They are busy now but I doubt they can sustain busines with this service. In the end the food was good, but not exceptional, service was terrible and the price was twice what we should have paid for this level of service. I would not go back there and hope that Michelin will reconsider their recommendation.More

Food was delicious, from start to finish, including the coconylut pannacotta and my little birthday treat! Cocktails were made to perfection, the fillet was buttery and the service was great, I was even given a mini stool for my bag, such a nice touch! Definitely...recommended for a fine dining experience in Budapest.More

From the team behind Michelin 2* Stand Étterem it is inside Stand25 Bisztró that guests will find a more casual concept, the bustling room on the Buda side of the Danube turning out Hungarian classics served alongside French-Mediterranean ideas. The result of Szabina Szulló and...Tamás Széll’s departure from Onyx in 2017, both the Bistro and Flagship having gone on to surpass their former kitchen in acclaim, Stand25 lays out its menu in familiar format with prices that may seem high for Hungary but that are still a bargain in terms of execution. Designed as a neighborhood Restaurant, though service feels stiff from hostess to waitstaff, it is upon order that complimentary Bread arrives along Butter and Pork Fat with a second round of Sourdough ideal for soaking up hearty Soups including complex Goulash and French Onion atop a formidable Crouton. Built in front of an open Kitchen, staff working quietly while preparing Lamb Meatloaf atop creamy Vegetables and vegetarian Stroganoff, “Chicken Stew” in English turns out to be Paprikash in an idealized form while Desserts including Somlói Galuska and Túrógombóc are classics served in an appropriately small size to end a hearty meal.More

Ez az étterem egy vásárcsarnokban van, sajnos nem tudom, hogy mi a csarnok álláspontja a kutyusokkal kapcsolatban, de ha felhívják az éttermet, ők biztosan tudnak segíteni. :))
