I was very excited to try out this well rated Michelin star restaurant. I probably had too high expectations and was left disappointed. There were two meals we liked, one was the French onion soup and the second was the aubergine tartar. Unfortunately the tomatoes...that came with the tartar tasted really bad… The dishes that disappointed the most were the goulash and the potato gnocchi with tomato cream and sun dried tomatoes. The meat and some veggies in the goulash were burnt, so this spoiled the overall impression. The tomato sauce was too sour and couldn’t balance the tenderness and the lovely taste of the gnocchi itself. We had two desserts. The floating islands were ok, but the somloi was just blend. I wanted to like this place and the meals… I would not come back again. But the waiters are friendly and polite and place itself is nice and clean. I just didn’t get the fine dining experience I was looking for. Very overrated and pricey, below average place….More

Loved the baked vegetable soup and the potato gnocchi. The servings were perfectly measured and the staff was friendly.

Excellent, creative food. Wonderful wine list with knowledgeable staff. Nice casual vibe in nearby Buda (easy bus ride). Has become one of our go to places in Budapest.

Delicious food carefully created. Knowledgeable and friendly waiting staff. The wine waiter was great and helped us navigate Hungarian wine varieties until we found something really good. The beef tartare was second to none.

While searching for a Michelin Bib restaurant we found this place. We chosed table d'hote menu and a la carte. The environment is quite and warm, great service and amazing food and drinks. Must try the deserts with one of the recommended Tokaji whines. Definitely...a must place to go.More

I surprised my fiancé with a dinner here. I ordered asparagus soup which was magnificent. My fiancé asked for a started with courgette. For the main course, I ate pasta with deer I think it was a seasonal menu. He ordered steak and for dessert...a Cottage cheese dumplings, sour cherry, sour cream foam. Everything was delicious! The service was very polite and nice! The food arrived very fast, we didn't have to wait for a long time to get it!More

We had a fantastic dinner. Excellent service, food, wine and venue. A great experience and will definitely visit again. The only thing we would have changed was more time between our starters and main course, everything else was perfect!

Terrible service, food was poor as well, not recommended, nothing to do with Michelin. 服务很差,食物水准很一般,不值得米其林一星的评级。不推荐。相信我。 .השירות גרוע, גם האוכל,לא מומלץ

Lamb tasted like wax and fat, steak tartare basically had no flavour (big chunks of medium-quality meat) and the roast a la Brasov was way too salty but still without any characteristics. Gluten free bread was vet since they probably just took it our from...the freezer and didn't even make an effort to toast it properly. Waiters are dull and not friendly, you have to wave them over like 5 times if you want something, and the way they handle complaint is disappointingly unprofessional (they basically reach nothing). This place is a solid PASS.More

Very efficient service, clearly a well trained professional team - delicious, beautiful food. Michelin chef mate recommended the sister restaurant as exceptional, but that I wouldn’t be disappointed here. I wonder how some find a reason to complain, it’s far beyond what one would expect...from a bistro. My daughter is a sushi obsessed & rated this above Nobu for experience. Nice touches with the bread accompaniments & monogrammed napkins. A very worthy flagship for Hungarian hospitality. They seem to tick all the boxes, no fuss, casual but refined, expertly showcased regional cuisine. The most immaculate bathrooms (which bodes well for the kitchen & management). If you don’t like food here, I can’t imagine you’d be pleased anywhere. We’d attempted Budapest’s ‘no 1’ (complete disaster) & ordered similar traditional dishes to reframe the ordeal, not surprisingly pulled off to perfection here. Three dinner courses with drinks less than £100. Bravo, great value :)More

We arrive early. No place to wait. We had to wait outside in the cold. The starters were OK. Not more. Onion soup great Main courses - the chicken stew is not a stew. Just chicken in gravy, and it was cold The coffee was...also cold. Service fine. I don't understand for what they got michelin. Does not worth itMore

Ez az étterem egy vásárcsarnokban van, sajnos nem tudom, hogy mi a csarnok álláspontja a kutyusokkal kapcsolatban, de ha felhívják az éttermet, ők biztosan tudnak segíteni. :))
