The place is really nice and cosy, the staff is extremely attentive, friendly and helpful. The food is absolutely delightful, we did enjoy it at its fullest, from the starters to the desserts ! It was a real pleasure to have dinner there. Plus, as...I’m French, I was extremely surprised by the « low » prices as the food seams to be really high quality !More

In November we were in Sophie Brasserie with our best friends. It was an amazing night. Delicious food, excellent vines, kind service. We ‘ll be back. 🚀 Regards Steve 😉

We had breakfast here on a Friday. Ordered Hungarian breakfast and an omelette with mushrooms. Plus green tea and coke. Hungarian breakfast turned out to be scrambled eggs with sausage and potatoes. Was ok but frankly nothing special and very salty. The tea was not...loose but teabags. They first served me a rather burnt omelette so I had to send it back to the kitchen. To be fair they did not object and very quickly made a new one. It looked good so I was really looking forward to it. Sadly it was ruined by an awful amount of salt. Overall the food disappointed. On the positive side the service was friendly and the place has nice interior.More

Had read about this place on tripadvisor and decided to go there for lunch. We didn´t know what to expect, even though the place had gotten really good reviews. The food we enjoyed (and we did enjoy it to the fullest!) was not only beautifully...presented, but tasted extremely good! Highly recommended!More

We went to this brasserie for the brunch, as the restaurant looked amazing from the outside. I always order french breakfast, so was very curious about this one. I ordered croissant, pain au chocolat with butter and jam. The jam and croissant was very nice...as well as the pain au chocolat. But the butter was terrible... I asked the staff if it is a real butter, as it was tasting exactly like a cheap margarine substitute. They told me it is a real butter. I know for many people it is not a big deal, but for me, it really does matter, if they serve the real butter and not the disgusting taste of margarine.. My partner had benedict eggs, which were okay, but the serving looked very cheap, the eggs were a bit overcooked, not really how the real wgg benedict should be. So disappointed, after this experience, not really coming to see this place. You should try the place nearby called bistro Brunch, its much much better and you will not leave disappointed ;)More

Understated elegance. Hungarian food with a French twist. Beautifully plated, good food (not great). Friendly, attentive staff. Reasonable prices. Limited menu which is ok. Best thing is that they don't require reservations on weekends as it seems every other decent restaurant does. The only drawback...is no/few vegetables. I don't think Hungarians eat vegetables.More

We were celebrating our anniversary with my wife in this lovely place with nice live music. Food was also great (burger and duck + tagliatelle) as were the waitresses. Absolutely recommended!

My family and I spent our last evening at this restaurant. The wait staff was very kind. The food was absolutely delicious and the wine was great! Beyond that, the environment was super cute! Really really glad we went there!

There were no real plans for dinner, just a casual stroll down an unexplored street in Budapest. By chance we see a nice looking veranda with friendly waiter standing by with a smile on his face. A few minutes later we are sitting down about...to enjoy what we could not have known to be, but a fantastic dinner. Liver & Dumpling Soup Hungarian Steak + Lecso Each dish was perfect. Price was so reasonable. Service was kind, friendly and attentive. What more could you want in a random choice for dinner on a beautiful night? The next time we will not be so random. We will come back to Sophie Brasserie with intention. Well done.More
