It's a seriously in demand place, and for a restaurant in the heart of the Jewish quarter you'd expect a reliable online booking system.. or as they choose to run their business, by Facebook messaging, but it doesn't work - we messaged and didn't hear...More

Loved this restaurant. Food was incredibly yum and ambience is really good (good mixed crowd, mostly young people having a good time). The interior is inviting and the menu offers many vegetarian options. It is a popular restaurant so I would recommend booking in advance...More

I honestly don’t understand the fuss about this place, it’s always fully booked and when finally we managed to get a table, it was below expectations. Food and lemonades were nice however 1. My friend was served something else what she ordered, we had to...More

We were trying to have dinner and also lunch twice and the guy of the front door was really rude. There were not tables available any time of the week, thing we totally understand, but his attention was grumpy and rude. I had checked this...More

A restaurant recommended by my host who is a local. It serves very good Middle Eastern food. I like the spice they used and the lamb in the soup that I had tasted so good. The place is cosy and staff is very friendly. I...More

District VII / Jewish Quarter
District VII is the very heart of Budapest and houses
the city’s Jewish Quarter. Its streets are lively and
colorful, its buildings narrate different histories in
an assortment of architectural styles, and its cafes
and bars are frequented and loved by the enthusiastic
crowds. Grand and magnificent, the striking star of
the district is the Great Synagogue, the largest in
Europe and one of the biggest in the world. Distinctly
