We stumbled upon this restaurant and are so glad we did! The interior is really pretty (love the subway like arches) and the food was delicious. Highly recommend the mushrooms soup to start!

Fantastic dinner with local Hungarian high quality food. Had the pork dish with sushi rice and a fresh cucumber salad.
Buzy restaurant in lovely area. The decorations are marvelous, well done, the meny contains something for everybody - we had problems choosing. Settled for the local speciallity Gulasch - just fantastic.
The waiters are not particularly hospitable or nice, they don’t smile, the food is too expensive for what it is.
One of the best food in Budapest! Fine dining and hungarian traditional specialities combination. Congrat to chef and sous chef for creating such variety of taste miracles!
We were looking for a different dining experience and Hilda provided. There farm to table dining experience was amazing we did not have a reservation but they were able to accommodate us. The cost $110 was worth
A beautiful setting. Centrally located. Excellent staff, helpful, informative and nothing was too much trouble. Food was out of this world. Be guided by their recommendations. Would highly recommend. Well priced. Not low end but superb value for money. The chef came out to our...table to check on what we had eaten........it was a wonderful experience. Go there!More
We loved this restaurant from its beautiful decor to the superbly prepared food and fine wines! There were several gluten free options (appropriately marked). I chose the bone-in chicken breast and I've never had more flavorful, moist chicken. We were very happy with their house...white wine (from their vineyards) and the service was very attentive. Overall - an excellent dinner!More
The location is very nice and the staff was very nice. The drinks were tasty but the prices very high. They calculate 15% of service charge and as we dindt recognize it, they took our 10% TIP without saying. That was sad. In Austria we...say I paid "Deppen-Steuer".More
My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our dining experience at this very good restaurant. The food was delicious and made with love for great food and taste, and all details were perfect. It was clearly made and served with a deep passion for great dining....The waiter and waitresses were very friendly and helpful and we felt so well looked after. What more could we ask for? Finally the atmosphere was cozy, unique and romantic. Thank you, if we are back Budapest then we will be back!More
This restaurant is a little bit from the tourist pad but definitely worth a visit. It serves very tasty foods, healthy food. The interior is also stunning. Will definitely return.
Domestic and traditional food elevated by a very creative chef, combined with great staff and atmosphere.
From Chef Renátó Kovács HILDA is an upscale eatery filled with stained glass mosaics and Zsolnay ceramic tiles, a focus on local and sustainable ingredients looking forward though the techniques involved are rooted in classic training. Previously at Fáma with Krisztián Huszár, but fully in...charge at HILDA, Kovács seeks to fuse French Bistronomy with Hungarian recipes across a menu that is concise and smart with big flavors including some of the city's best Goulash with Bread to sop up every drop. Located downtown, plenty of foot traffic finding time for local Wines including several styles of Tokaj, additional highlights include lightly-sweetened Paprika Popcorn and decadent Mangalica Pork Meatloaf, but for those seeking something really special the crisp-skinned Rotisserie Chicken with Paprikash Gravy and herbal aromatics should not be missed.More
The staff is super nice and pro, the chef is a genius. And, as a local, I'm telling you: if you are looking for the best goulash in Budapest, you can find it here. Highly recommended!
Cannot fault the tasty two courses, seemingly simply but deeply delicious. I had the mushroom consommé and the garden salad gratin. Each had cheeky little ingredients that perfected the dish but were tricky to identify (in a good way)
