I have eaten at this restaurant for almost 20 years. When we visit Budapest we always have a couple of meals there. This is typical Hungarian "kisvendéglő" - a district restaurant frequented by locals. This is not gourmet food, it is very Hungarian and somewhat...More

The staff is kind. The portions are big, but they are using cheap ingredients. As a result the taste of the dishes is disappointing. However the prices are quite steep compared to the quality.

We went there with friends who live in Budapest. It's in a nice setting. Busy place. The prices are reasonable. Paid about 60% less than on the main drags. Price for dinner, and I missed a dish or two, was 13,670 Ft.or 50.63 Euro. A...More

The staff here were friendly and the food was brought out quickly. The portions were generous - I ordered entree size and couldn't finish it. However, the food was average. The side of steamed vegetables was clearly reheated from a frozen pack and the paprika...More

Chicken soup: water, 4 pieces of dry chicken, carrot, noodles and frozen peas.... Brother ordered fries, got rice instead. 2 stars because the waitress at least tried to recommend dishes but overall small portions and tasteless food. Dishes between 1600-2200huf, soup was a little cheaper.

We loved this restaurant. We called ahead for a reservation and we could get a table for 14 people within one hour. The food was delicious!!!

Dear Clarisa, I don't think that the Pozsonyi is a good choice for you.. The restaurant serves the Hungarian cuisine! If you want to eat fish & vegetables, go to Greece or Italy. ;)) However, I wrote a query to Pozsonyi, so... More
