Enormous portions, cheap prices. This restaurant is perfect if you want to taste something typical and rustic about hungarian cuisine. The location is crowded, so reservation is recommended. We ordered a delicious cordon bleu and a plate of chicken with a bacon and cheese sauce....More

I was a little surprised that they didn't have Paprikas Csirke on the menu, but that they did have my other favorite dish - Toltott Paprika. That's highly unusual for a Hungarian restaurant in Hungary - but I'm not complaining! The dish was absolutely fantastic,...More

Really.....? Waiting staff uninterested. Server got order wrong. One of the entrees was croquettes which, should be golden brown. These were dark chocolate! How do you let something like that leave the kitchen let alone have a server present it to you? Way too much...More

Arriving about 8.30pm there were no seats outside so we were shown a booth (we definitely missed the breeze). Our drinks came quickly, as did our food. I went for braised beef in a root vegetable sauce with dumplings and my partner had breaded chicken...More

Good, cheap food. I really recommend the goulash, especially with dumplings. The stuffed paprika was great as well! The waitress (Pozsonyi K.) was super nice, spoke prefect English and gave us a few recommendations. Overall I really recommend it! The only thing it that there...More

The place is small and always crowded, which is a good sign. Book a table beforehand, otherwise you won't have a chance. The food is delicious, portions are huge, and prices are very reasonable. Even the waitresses are nice. A great homey place.

I have eaten at this restaurant for almost 20 years. When we visit Budapest we always have a couple of meals there. This is typical Hungarian "kisvendéglő" - a district restaurant frequented by locals. This is not gourmet food, it is very Hungarian and somewhat...More

Dear Clarisa, I don't think that the Pozsonyi is a good choice for you.. The restaurant serves the Hungarian cuisine! If you want to eat fish & vegetables, go to Greece or Italy. ;)) However, I wrote a query to Pozsonyi, so... More
