A beautiful place with friendly atmosphere. Try to contact the boss, he is a very nice chap, a real master of hospitality. He will solve all your problems, should you have any. Fine Hungarian-Mediterranean food.

We went towards the end of May which made it warm enough to sit in the courtyard (blankets provided if you do get a bit chilly). Lovely setting and good atmosphere with pianist playing in the background. The soup was tasty (we had Goulash soup...More

A former artist's club, where exhibitions, performances and cheap, but tasty food was on the menu. Nowadays it is nothing at all, just an average restaurant with tired waiters and menu.

If you are looking for the old world charm you are used to at the Feszek, you will be dissapointed. New owners are turning it into a night spot like all the other cafes down the street on Liszt Ferenc Ter. While the building is...More

This spot is easy to miss, on the corner of a quiet street in Pest VII, but is worth finding. The room is spacious, if slightly overlit, and is beautifully finished and proportioned. Skip the nondescript starters and head straight for the Paprika Chicken and...More

One of the most beautiful garden restos in Bp. Food is good. Pity service is slow and a bit too friendly for the atmosphere. Or maybe I felt so because there were so few guests.

District VII / Jewish Quarter
District VII is the very heart of Budapest and houses
the city’s Jewish Quarter. Its streets are lively and
colorful, its buildings narrate different histories in
an assortment of architectural styles, and its cafes
and bars are frequented and loved by the enthusiastic
crowds. Grand and magnificent, the striking star of
the district is the Great Synagogue, the largest in
Europe and one of the biggest in the world. Distinctly

Description
The most beautiful garden restaurant in Budapest! Hidden inside of a historical building, the house of artists, which used to be the hang-out place for all the celebrities during Communist times (60-ies - 80ies). Great, homestyle cooking; peaceful, live music; trees, birds, fountain. Protected in rainy days as well. Fit for couples, families and big groups as well.
