We visited every day for a cappuccino and a strudel (cherry is fab), love this place. Sit outside for the stunning views of Buda and the Danube.

First time we called in here was just to get some refreshments during late morning. We decided to give the place a try as it was always busy. I think down to its location right beside the Danube River. They have local musicians playing there...More

On the river so great for a view of the castle and people watching. Waitstaff a little standoffish but no worse than other places in town. Veal goulash was very good and paprika chicken was great. Convenient to the promenade.

District V / Inner City
Discover the Inner City along the banks of the Danube,
with its fashionable shops and iconic buildings. The
Inner-City Parish Church and St. Stephen’s Basilica
stand out as two of the finest examples of
architecture in the area. If you are still hunting for
more historical treats, then the ruins of the medieval
city walls on Kecskeméti Utca are a must-visit while
the Soviet War Memorial is also worthy of attention

Our restaurant is located in the heart of the city centre, on Vigadó Square, looking on Duna-korzó. This wonderful walking path along the Danube on the Pest side has always been a favourite meeting and walking place for people and there has always been a coffe-house or a restaurant on the site of our venue ever since the 1870’s. Duna Corso restaurant is run by the same family for more than 40 years. Now it is already the third generation working here, thinking over and recreating traditional recipes. The nostalgic old and the reformed new tastes of Hungarian cuisine combined with our own gastronomic traditions determine the selection on the menu. From early spring till late autumn we welcome our guests on one of the most wonderful, panoramic terraces whereas during winter time we await them with our classic and modern rooms. In the evenings the culinary experience is completed by live music. In 2015 we added a confectionary to our restaurant.
