We took a reservation for Sunday because it was very crowded but the experience was excellent. We took their goulash (one classic and one chef’s recommendation) two beer and it was delicious spicy and very generous portions! After that we took two desserts and I...recommend it because they were delicious. A very excellent experience to redo very soonMore

The reviews are all spot on, (a) this place is awesome, (b) the food, service, and ambience are all fantastic, and (c) you need a reservation! I had the steak with four pepper sauce and the Mrs. had chicken paprika, and both were perfect. Also...had a bottle of a really great full-bodied red wine, we always want to try the local stuff and I believe their whole wine list may be Hungarian, the reds and whites here are both really smooth and a well-kept secret. A big thank you to all the previous reviewers who turned us on to this place!More

Good and yummy food, afoordable prices, nice and cozy place. It is better to book in advance as the place is quite small and full all the time. We walked in and had to wait for 15 minutes but it was worth it. English speaking...waiters and quite nice and amiable. We recommend itMore

From the moment we walked in the staff were friendly and cheerful even though the place was packed, if you want a table best to book ahead as all the time we were there people were waiting for a table. The staff work extremely hard,...our order was taken in good time and arrived after a reasonable wait. Portions are large, of good quality and reasonably priced. There were few restraunts near were we were staying near Keilti Station, Paprika was a liesuerly 20 mins stroll for us and we'll worth the walk. We would highly recommend.More

The place was really cozy and nicely decorated. Also it was clean. The portions were really big and the food was both very tasty and the quality was really good! The service though was not that good. The prices were kinda high but it's value...for money because of the quality and the quantity! The staff were not polite and hardly smiled at us. Also in one instance they went as far to be rude. I recommend it. If you go there make sure to make a reservation because they don't accept come ins!More

Arrived here by pure chance in torrential rain. The manager did not turn us away even though it was packed but managed to find space after a short wait. The food was fantastic, I had schnitzel and would have trailed across the city to eat...here again had tie permitted. The inside it quaint and rustic like a log cabin, it is warm and cosy and the service was some of the best and most cheerful I have ever encountered! The prices were excellent value and I could not fault a single thing with this place. If you want wonderful food and great prices in an amazing atmosphere with excellent and cheery service, then absolutely go to this restaurant!More

Best dinner in Budapest! The portions were incredible and the food tasted incredible. Make sure you book in advance as they're super busy. The phone kept ringing since we entered the place and the queue never stopped. Staff were welcoming and friendly. Food was another...level. Definitely going back.More

I agree with Ashley He's response. It is possible, but you would need to book in advance. They were very busy and it is a relatively small restaurant...but very worth it!
