Good coffee, cakes and service. Nice chilled out atmosphere in a shared space of a bike shop. I would definitely go here again.

I have cycled all over the world and I would go so far as to say this is one of the friendliest and helpful shops I’ve ever been to. I contacted mesterbike as I was looking for a bike part but I found so much...more. Not only were they really helpful in sourcing the part they also loaned me a bike and introduced me to a really strong local cyclist who showed me around the Budapest hills. Their branding is cool and the fitout of the shop is world class as is the coffee. It’s a top end bike shop but you don’t need to be a cyclist to appreciate the coffee. I cannot thank Andras enough for going the extra mile and making my trip to Budapest.More

I am here daily to enjoy a delicious cortado or hot chocolate. The coffee itself is delicious - not too bitter and smooth to enjoy with a bit of milk. The hot chocolate is not the typical fudgy thick Hungarian hot chocolate that you will...find in most places. They use 60% bittersweet chocolate chips to prepare it, which I absolutely love. My husband enjoys his daily double espresso (extra strong) and orange juice. Despite what the 1 star customer wrote, my husband has had OJ every day :) They have the standard coffee and tea list, a few pastries (gluten and lactose free options), fruit smoothies, sodas, and protein bars. But, what keeps us here is the super friendly service! Coming from the States and living here for 3 years, we definitely miss the smiles and the warm greetings when we go to cafes, restaurants and stores. At Mesterbike, we feel at home. And, if you are trying to practice your Hungarian, like me, the barista/cashier is super patient! I come here for the coffee and the service but there are great bikes as well. There is a mix crowd - foreigners and neighborhood locals - families with kids and strollers, pets, young and old. You find a little bit of everything and hear different languages. There is free Wifi and people don't mind if you have your laptop out (but it is not terribly quiet here). It is a bit small with limited sitting for about 15 people indoors and about another 10 outside. A great gem in this neighborhood and worth the stop if you are near by.More

Mesterbike is definitely the go-to place for cycling enthusiast, whether you need a new kit or a reliable repair service; if you're a solid rider, you can also join their Saturday rides around the capital (scenery and exhaustion guaranteed). But it isn't exclusively for cyclists....The cafe has a great atmosphere and it attracts a very diverse, hip, multicultural crowd. They have a few laptop-friendly seats at the table and it's a great place to some work done while enjoying a decent brew.More

Nice little coffeeshop with a good knowledge in the coffee-world. The business is run personally by the owner. Take away or having a seat with your coffee, friends doesn't matter. They welcome you inside or outside under the old tree's shelter looking on the rushing...street. It is special in a way that you feel relaxed when you step in despite it is in the downtown rush. Fresh croissant and sandwiches are also available. On the other hand if you like bikes you are in one of the most appropriate places in BP. They are offering the unique Swiss BMC as an only specialist in HUN. They have a repair corner where definitely one of the best handymen is working everyday. Ask for a time slot but if not you can maybe be lucky with your instant bike problem as I was several times. Don't miss it. It is the bikers and coffee-lovers paradise.More

Been here 3 times, having average sandwiches for extraordinary prices. 2 out of 3 times they could not serve orange juice because they run out of oranges. Vegetables shop is right next door...

Great bikes and excellent coffee in one place. The staff is very friendly, and the café is perfect for meetings or just working with a laptop. There is always a good selection of cakes and pastries. The bike shop has a large selection of brands...that you can only find here in Budapest. When they do not have something in my size in stock, they are happy to back order. The mechanic is very competent too. All in all, this is the place you want to visit if you are visiting Budapest with your bike.More

First time we went for a quick coffee with friends. Staffs were friendly and coffee was served quickly. Worth having a look, even for those who don't ride, or ride city bikes... The atmosphere is nice, people working on their Macs or just enjoying a...flat white. Serves up the best coffee in and around Budapest! Excellent service and good breakfast. To have a good coffee and service my bike I always chose MESTERBIKE!More

One of the best speciality coffee in town! Affirdable prices, nice and friendly atmosphere. Cyclists are welcome, good place for a quick bike check or a post-ride coffee! Tip: try the home made banana bread, it's the most delicious in town!
