Great location, in the heart of the city. The food (snacks and sandwiches) is good, and they have lovely sweets and ice-cream. Both in summer and winter smokers can find their spots here as well.

Great family lunch in the traditional Hungarian Menu A / B / C style. The food was extremely tasty and the service friendly. Great for a wholesome lunch.

Late morning emergency cake stop was required and the oh so tempting window display of delicious Hungarian and French cakes and pastries ensured we stopped here. Prompt service even though we were the only people who chose to sit in the bubble covered patio area....Blankets were thoughtfully provided but unnecessary on a lovely sunny winters day. My partner enjoyed his non alcoholic mulled wine and I loved my hot dark chocolate drink. More expensive than other local cafes (£1.80 for the hot chocolate) but well worth it.More

I have been here a several times. The coffees, cocktails and hot chocolates are usually delicious, however they are really overpriced. One of the most expensive places in town, and considering the size of Békéscsaba it is too much. The service is usually unfriendly. The...place looks amazing, the atmosphere is usually good.More

We were with friends at the Cafe, we took a presso, a latte, and some kind of a berry shake. We were all very satisfied with the quality. All at the right temperature. Reasonable/low prices.

As I wanted to have a nice breakfast with my gf and with my mum in Békéscsaba,we've gone to Cafe One. Why this place? Because it looks like the best cafe in town. It was a big mistake. We got the menu soon after we...sat down. 2 minutes after, the waiters came back and asked us if we knew what we want to order. We sent them away like 4 times until we could order. We took some tuna spread with toast and smoothie. The smoothie was quite okay and the tuna spread was fab and just enough. After the tuna thing, we ordered cheescake and macarons. The macarons were so hard like stone, we could not eat them because they fell apart. Later we figured out that the "cheescake" was actually not "cheescake" and the sign said others. When we told the mistake for the waiter, the reaction was the following: "Uhm...that's it." The waiters and waitresses were chatting around us, did nothing. They were quite young, I can imagine that they were some students from the local catering high-school and wanted to get some experience during the summer. When we paid the waitress got rude, because we did not give any money for the service because it does not worth it. I might be sensitive because of my job of course (I am trainer in the service industry), but I think it cannot be called "service" that the students do there. I actually felt guilty because I wanted to order something or I told the waiter that wrong cake was served...More

It's a small but very futuristic cafe in the downtown of the city. The waiters are very kind, there are huge amount of different hot drinks. The coffe of the place is Illy. It is the best cafe in the city. It has a futuristic...tent covered terrace during winter, like a huge bubble. 😀 The prices of the drinks are moderated.More
