Somewhere we've been several times. However, it's probably the last time we get there. The waiter was not very service minded and seemed indifferent. The Award was all too high for the price level in Hungary, and we gave 32000 forrints for food for 2 adults and 2 children, which is almost the same price as in Denmark. And then it was put almost 4000 rents on the bill for service so drink money and that is not good enough at all, as there was absolutely nothing to come after from the waiter. That's 15% in the bill which is completely insane.

There have been various renovations, expansions and additions in recent years, all of which have been successful. Despite the current size!! there is still a certain amount of privacy for the guest. The polite and knowledgeable service by all the staff is commendable. This may have something to do with the service charge on the bill. Good!! The quality of the food we enjoyed was above average. The only thing that was top-notch and could not be improved was the GRILLED pike-perch fillet on a bed of noodles. The menu is huge and suitable for a daily visit for 3 weeks. It's a shame that the nearby parking lot is unreasonably expensive! A refund from the restaurant for corresponding consumption would be beneficial

We had some Tradicional Hungarian dish. I ordered one of my favorite fruit soup for starter, what was a very fresh taste with a cream on top. Summer time the best cold soup. I had a “Bécsi szelet” with new potato and pickled cabbage, it was so good. I don’t remember for the other food what my Family ordered, but they was very happy with the dishes.
Very friendly staff, good atmosphere, view to the Balaton.

After 10 minutes of wait in the entrance, we were finally received with a very icy welcome, and once we finally got our seats, on a table that has not been cleaned yet (not bothering them in the slightest), the waiter asked for our order in an almost rude way, without showing us any menu or whatsoever. When we asked for one, he disappeared and never came back. We left after 10 minutes of wait. Never again.

We’ve been waiting at the door to be seated. A number of waiters passed by with no reaction, actually actively avoiding an eye contact (there were several free tables inside). After asking one of them for a table, she just said ‘you have to wait’. After 15 minutes we gave up and went somewhere else.

We had reservation. It took 26 minutes for the waiter to take our order . The drinks arrived further 15 minutes later. For the bill we had to wait ten minutes. It wasn't full so this these times are unacceptable. The food is acceptable in size but highly overpriced for that quality.

The duck was grey and dry. The potatoes were dry and the red cabbage not good. Nothing looked or tasted fresh. The manager of this restaurant needs to review the menu. It is too long. Particularly for autumn / winter. Only put something on the menu if you can cook it well and serve it fresh. i am just a home cook- but would never serve food like this to guests.

As a perfect couple we went there.
The waiter had no idea about wines. To get 1 bottle mineral water took 15 min.after that he mixed up my partner’s order after he asked us 2 what we want.
Tried to deliver other tables dessert to us.
The view is great if you get a good table.
It looked chaotic.

One of the best restaurant at lake Balaton. The food is exellent, large scale from vegetarian to seafood. Helpful, friendly staff, quick service. Usually busy, i suggest to book table in advance. Family friendly.

Whenever we are passing by Balatonfüred we always make sure to have lunch at this amazing place. Waiters always greet us warmly. After we order we get the food in a short time. Tasty foods and big portions. Waiters behaviour is outstanding. We definitely recommend this gem and for sure come back.

I went to Borcsa for dinner. I wasn't very hungry, so I wanted a fish soup and bread. Both were very tasty - but the service was very listless and wanted to get everything over with quickly, even though there wasn't much going on. That takes the fun out of eating.

Huge but not overwhelming, next to the beach, overlooking a small fountain and lovely flowers. The roe pörkölt was tasty, although a bit too tough for my liking. The beef cheek in “vadas” sauce with gnocchi was excellent. The “mákos guba torta” (poppyseed desert) disappointed. Service was good.

Wide range of choices on the menu and the food was excellent. You can people watch on the promenade side or sit in the garden with a view of Balaton. Service was maybe a little tardy at times but otherwise pleasant and professional.

HUGE menu. May be over 100 items! Impressive, taking into consideration the kitchen handles it well. Went a for Transylvanian mixed with 6 different meats. Very good impression of the place. Quick service, great tasting food and an also great tasting local red wine.

If you want to try fish soup while you stay at Füred, this is your place.
We always have fun at this restaurant with my family. It is one of the best places around. The staff is professional.
The location is very nice, next to the lake Balaton and to the main promenade.
