The waiters were really helpful and friendly. The fish soup was okayish, even the small portion was very abundant. On the other hand, the beef stew with dumplings was delicious and the portion was big as well. The palinka was good and the prices are...reasonable. Reheated roasted pork, garlic cream spread on a pork chop with cold Aldi frozen French fries, freakishly fast service, like 3 minutes after we ordered, felt like a cafeteria style lunch menu you can buy for about 3 euros; not the fine dining experience I...was looking for while on vacation. I had a quick dinner here, had fishsoup and some very good beer. I had a table on the patio where smoking was allowed. The waiter kinda felt blue but served fast and kind.

Atmospheric place, great goose, game, harcsa and other Hungarian fare. Reasonably priced, service was friendly on both occasions we visited. I would happily recommend.

Excellent food and outstanding service. Young waitress with an artistic prowess stunned us all with her exceptional English language skills and her doodles on the receipt. She is also a magician with plates - well... this may be an exaggeration.

Came here in the off-season and the place did not disappoint! It is surely not the best place for Hungarian dishes in the country but it will give you a great introduction if you are not familiar with these dishes. The have some basic but...famous Hungarian dishes that taste quite good. The portions are more than adequate, a soup and a main will fill you up properly. The service was nice and fast, and the atmospere was also welcoming. The Balaton region is full of the worst restaurants in the country and cheater but this place is a good example how you can run a cheap yet decent restaurant in this tourist-trap area.More

The first waiter we met was a bit shocking. We asked him, if the table we have chosen is free. He replied, that there is a reservation and went away without a word. We were quite surprised. After a few second another waitress came, who...was very nice, and offered us a good place. The third waiter was very nice too, we could order in 4 languages. The food here was very, very good. A nice goulash soup, come steaks and schnitzels, very nice. But then we had to wait maybe 20 minutes for the bill a no one came to offer us another drink.More

I have been to this restaurant a few time's. It has remained my favorite when I'm in Balatonalmadi. The food is of couse fantastic but the ambiance and service help make the experience all the better.The location is right in the centre of town so...its easy t find, I would highly recommend!More

This restaurant is located in central square of balatonalmadi. We had few dinners here and everytime place was quite full --> good food = popular place. Service was good and quick, they also speak english. Griled Beef tenderloin was really good and one portion of...spagetti bolognese was enough for two children. Also, try the cucumber salad and goulash soup. Plus there is few pokestops nearby! ;-)More

I dropped accidentaly by this restaurant on my way back to Budapest. The food was served fast and was delicious, also had a good coffee here. The restaurant has menus in Hungarian, German and English languages. The restaurant is located across the street from the...train station and the beaches and close to the coach station. Parking is at the square in front of the restaurant but please check whether it's paying or not. (I was there during weekend when parking is generally free in Hungary.)More
