As a result of an unplanned visit to the town of this restaurant, we were in need of feeding on a Sunday lunchtime. This eatery looked appetising enough on the edge of the old town to draw us in. And we were glad we went. Our waitress started a bit brusque...long days had taken there toll, but that was rectified and smiles appeared with our convivial conversation. Service was timely, and our food piping hot, tasty, and enjoyable. We sat outside on a warm sunny day with views across the valley and the restaurants garden, and we can vouch for vegetables being freshly picked and taken to the kitchens. We would eat here again, it was certainly popular and we did book a table a few hours earlier to make sure we got in. It was an enjoyable experience.

We were the only people at the time of our visit, and I am glad we asked for lunch and didn't try another location.
Food was all very good, as was the house beer. I had calf liver and my wife had trout. Dessert was a honey strukli.
The great host was friendly and clearly enjoyed the food he served.
Highly recommend.

Excellently prepared and beautifully presented venison with cranberries and cheese rolls. Delicious local specialty for dessert. Friendly and alert service. Enjoyed dinner outside on the terrace under large trees. Recommended!

Very long wait, very high prices for the quality and quantity of food. A 0.75l bottle of water 5.50€, half a litre of loose wine 10€, a mixed meat dish (2 sausages and 4 mini sausages 17.90€...

As I wrote in title the waitress who also happened to be the owner or one of the owners was unfriendly with very cold attitude, but only for us who were slovenian guests. As soon as she approached foreign guests near out table, her attitude changed completely. Seems this restaurant doesn't value slovenian guests. When me and a friend ask for a fish to be returned and cooked completely (it was raw inside), we got same cold attitude and no apology. I was there for the first time and surely for the last.

Nice place from outside but the service is poor. Acidic waitress who seemed to be in a hurry (the place was almost empty at the time). She quickly took the order and disappeared. After a while we received the food but then we had to hunt her just to have some bread . We finished up, she came to pick up the dishes and that's it! And this is the result of a long tradition? Please give me a break! If you value your money go somewhere else.

Good food but waiter was very unfriendly at start, when we asked him two times where can we sit down. He didn't even want to answer it. We wanted to review it with 1, but food was absolutly to good for bad assesment, so the overall assesment can be bad 3.

This used to be a really nice place with great food. Now they have a new chef and it’s really horrible with the same prices than before (even higher).
They serve really average cantine food. Don’t go here, it’s a trap.

Wonderful place...came upon it by chance. Beautiful views over the valley, terrific food...especially the home made pate. Great service, friendly, good personality, plenty of time to relax and enjoy. Highly recommend it if you are visiting near Bled.

Summer. In Upper Carniola is pleasant due to the mountains. Terrace - with manageable tables under trees. Simply adorable. The food is traditional - the wine partly experimental - wonderful. Thank you.
