We were already at the Pizzeria Santa Lucia in May 2023 on the recommendation of our host at the time and this year we drove back to Portoroz during our vacation in Izola to eat there.
The pizzas are lavishly topped, and you can choose homemade pasta for the pasta dishes (be sure to try it!). The fish and meat dishes are also of very good quality and taste simply great.
In addition, the food is inexpensive and the service is very courteous.
Although the restaurant is mainly visited by locals, communication in English and German is not a problem, there is a multilingual menu.
We will definitely come back again at the next opportunity :-)

Good morning.
I'd like to write something about our dinner with friends.
So on wednesday the 12th of January me and my friends we visited Santa Lucia Pizzeria for a dinner time. The ambient and atmosphere was good. We had really nice time with friends in this pizzeria restqurant. Staff and service was excellent, so i'm really greatful that we decided to go for a dinner in Santa Lucia Pizzeria.
Food was amazing.

We ordered everything we could to take away and there was everything for the whole family. Everyone was catered for. From pizzas to grilled seafood and salads. Everyone was happy. The portions were decent. Thank you, we'll be back on our next vacation. The price/performance ratio is good (even as a Swabian ;-) ).

We have a lunch here, we ordered 2 pizzas and a french fries for our child. The food was delicious, but the pizza was big for us, so we couldn't eat it all. The waitress came and ask: Take away? We said yes (for me this question means that we can take the rest of the food away in a box). After that we ate our desserts, paid the check and still waited our pizza box. A few minutes later I went to the desk and ask about our pizza box to take away. The waitresses did not understands me, they wanted to take a new order. I gave up the explaining and went home without our paid half pizzas....
The food was delicious, so we were disappointed just because this misunderstandings ruined our nice experience.

Worst pizza I have ever eat in the world!!!!!!!!! Not even for pigs good enough. Disapointed MAX!!! Tasteless, artichokes were hard as wood. Only good thing at SantaLucia was a nice lady bartender.

Everything is ABSOLUTELY great. The staff is sooo kind. But the food omg😍. It's amazing. Specially the pasta and you HAVE TO try the dessert. Even if you are full. The food is very tasty. Far the best restaurant in Portoroz/Lucija.

Our go-to for takeaway pizza or for a last-minute date night. Pizzas are brilliant, my boyfriend also enjoys their steaks and pasta dishes. There are vegetarian options, and the staff are incredibly friendly.

Food was good but waiter was arogant and disrespectful. We ordered two dishes but served was only one. When we told him that ,he was arguing with us about our oreder insted of fixing it.

I was eating here two times. First time pizza and it was great, second time soup, ombolo with tartufi and salat. Girlfriend eats pasta. Everything was great and very teasty. I highly recommend.

- we were served by 6 different waiters
- waiter was placing the cutlery in some plastic bags while touching the top parts
- wine was served in some old beaten glass jars
- food came either cold or lava hot
- forgot to bring napkins
- fish pate had a huge bone in, after notifying, it was ignored
- bread was old but toasted to hide the fact
- bizzare TV slideshows that keep rolling on these huge TVs everywhere
- prices, as if it was fine dining

What a cheerful surprise! We took a very diversed dinner for 4, we tried tasty pizza truffles, juicy calamari, amazing istrian pasta & perfect calzone turkey steak. Couldnt decide what is better
