We had a family dinner at the Ribic restaurant. The food is one of the best in the area. Chef does a really great job and goes to a great extent to make it also visually appealing and adds a fresh touch to classic dishes. Fish carpaccio is great, tuna steak with goat cheese is a winning combination - not... More

By accident we stumbled upon this restaurant. From the beginning on the waiter was not really friendly and only talk to us with very short sentences. We were hungry so we stayed anyhow. To our surprise the food was really good. Also sitting on the terras with a view on the salt panes was really nice. We also noticed that... More

Always when I'm in Isola or Piran/Portoroz, I have to go there! Their sea foods and fishes are always excellent, also house vine is perfect. So it's always difficult what to choose, I would eat everything:-)). I thing 3 years ago they change chef cook, because they changed food styling. What bring meal on higher lever. You can eat also... Staff is still old school, this is a thing I like a lot. :) For start we ordered the Tris Ribic plate; carpacio of sea bass with octopus salat and salt cod. For the main we chosen the octopus from the oven with spicy vegetables. The food was wonderful, as I wrote before, friendly staff. Location is magical, you are... More

For the main we chosen the wild sea bass done in the oven. The food was more than amaizing, the staff was friendly and the location... More

There was times when Ribic was a great restaurant, in between it lost on the food side and it looked as only the scenic view and terrace keep it afloat. After yesterday with a new (few years) chef I have to reconsider. The chef took the time to spoil us with some of his creation on the spot. Exquisite tastes,... More

Ribič is a must for everybody loving seafood and Istria's cuisine. Nice ambient, plenty of space, very friendly staff with great selection of fresh fish, local food and wines. Every course is a tasty story of it's own. Whatever you'll have, you will enjoy it. It's around 30€/person for 3 courses and a glass of wine. Worth every euro!
