Had a very nice lunch here before we left Piran and travelled to Italy. We were recommended to eat here by a local business. I chose the grilled pork fillet which I had with a savory rice and rocket and Ajvar. It was a very generous serving, with 2 pieces of pork, and was very tender, moist and tasty. My... More

Avoid this restaurant! Attitude of the personnel is terrible! Jul 6th 2016. I'll remember this restaurant for life. I've never been so insulted by a primitive behavior of the waiter (seems that he is an owner as well). It was a casual business dinner, no dressing code, 5 people - working colleagues and partners. Food was average, no complains, but... More

We enjoyed a meal here. There is plenty of choice and the service was attentive without being overpowering. The menu is more or less a standard seaside menu in Slovenia, but the quality of the food was excellent. Verdi sits in a tiny square inside the old city of Piran so you dont get the sea views but actually, this... More

Verdi is located on a private square, so it's a quiet spot. The quality of the dishes differed: started were average (can't go wrong with mozzarella and tomatoes, or ham and cheese). Main dishes: excellent gnocchi, poorly grated fish filet. The waiter was funny but not very attentative. Could only pay in cash, no cards. The place either lost focus... More

We had a lovely dinner, despite the restaurant being very busy. Delicious fish soup, yummy pasta, tasty beef with mushrooms and super fresh dorado. Very good service and a lovely setting.

The food is very well prepared. And we were very well recommended for a great house vine. The restaurant is not at the coast, but it is situated in a small square between the old streets of Piran. The ambient is very romantic also on this time of the year, I can not imagine how it is in the summer... More

A slightly out-of-the-way family restaurant, tucked in one of the back streets of Piran. The service was friendly and efficient and the food delicious, especially the fish soup. The red house wine was decent. Nothing is cheap in Piran but we considered this restaurant better value than some of the main thoroughfare places. Would visit again.

We spotted this in a side street and liked the look of the place. We certainly weren't disappointed. Starter was a simple tomato mozzarella salad, made with good ingredients and nicely presented. The main course was a wonderfully prepared flat fish (rupa?) served with vegetables and accompanied by a local Sauvignon. Perfect! Service was attentive and friendly right down to... More

We enjoyed a most delicious dinner and a pleasant evening in Verdi. We ordered the grilled fish-plate for two which arrived with two fresh sea brass, lots of squid and potatoes with spinach. We also ordered a plate of mixed mussels as a starter which was an excellent choice. The waiter was very knowledgeable and helpful in explaining everything about... More

The owner attends you, is very small so is advisable if possible to make a reservation, the food is of superb quality and the portions are well served and at the end the owner comes and gives you a free "grappa" digestive drink of the house which is super good as well. To get there you'll need instructions because even... More
