Perfect autumn morning in Maribor

During the morning walk throughout the centre I stopped at Nana for a morning coffe and breakfast. The location is excellent, you are practically dining at the main square. I ordered a coffe and a brunch. Coffe come relatively fast according to the fact that there were quite some people. Brunch was delicious, you get a bit of everything from bread to wrap and yogurt with fruit for a good price. Definitely recomment.

we have visited Nana on a Saturday morning to have a breakfast and it was amazing. we ordered one brunch and the eggs benedict - not only the food was pretty served, it was tasty. definitely recommend this place for a breakfast/ brunch when visiting Maribor

Excellent for lunch/brunch

I come to Maribor from Graz usually once a week for lunch and shopping. On a recommendation I came to Nana for lunch, having walked passed here many times before. It is now my favourite in Marbor and was there for lunch on Wednesday. The waiter sat me in the restaurant area as I told him I wanted lunch. I sat opposite a log burner, which was nice on a cold day, I ordered gnocchi with truffles, side salad and unfiltered Maribor beer. Dessert was a cinnamon cake. The overall experience was first class. The ambience was great, service excellent and professional and food perfect. I enjoyed my time there and will be back on Monday, assuming borders are still OK between Austria/Slovenia! The waiter who served me saw my Green Pass was Austrian and used some German, although I eventually told him I'd rather use English, but that attention to detail to make someone feel welcome was really good. Brilliant job all round, roll on my next lunch there.

restaurant in a great location with a warm, homely atmosphere in which you will feel comfortable whether you come for a quick breakfast and coffee, lunch or an evening out with wine. Great food and a great selection of drinks. The only average in Nana are prices!

A bit dissapointing

This time it was dissapointment. First we asked for menu snd unfriently waitress just showed us to a thing on the table with QR code. Hslo. Older people csnnotvuse this. Than I ordered sald with sslmon. There should be rocket snd baby spinach on it but it wasñ't. Only green salaf. Poached egg was hard bolied egg. So... not a good thing.

The worst lunch in years

I went to Nana with my family and basically everything we ordered was poor. The worst dish was undoubtedly pad thai bowl that had nothing to do with pad thai. Noodles were the ones you usually put in a soup, there was some pepper and zucchini, there was no sauce, tofu or eggs. All in all completely tasteless. Also other dishes were not much better. Chicken was dry, gnocchi sauce was just cream, potato wedges were unbelievably greasy. The only dish that had some flavor to it was burger, but you can get better burgers in a 1km radius. I suggest you avoid Nana for lunch, it’s terrible.

tasty but expensive experience

Nana is a very nicely made place with the top location on the main square. We went for brunch and food was really nicely made, however... the portions are very small, basically for the a little bit hungry ones. And unfortunately the prices are not adjusted for portion size - one small piece of bacon or little avocado. The quality and ideas for meals are on top, just seems way too overpriced.

Christmass gatheting

Hi, I have really enjoyed December gathering with my friends in Nana. They have really got outstanding plates and delicious local food with various top Slovenian wines. Besides their startes and fingerfood, we enjoyed their home made desserts. I really recommend visiting Nana!

I went to Nana several times during my monthly visit to Maribor . Staff is very friendly, the food however got progressively worse. The open sandwich with lox and poached egg was fantastic the first time , had old dry bread and overcooked eggs the second time and I actually had to send it back one time as there was no lox in it and the egg was hard boiled . To bad - because it is a nice spot and the staff is doing the best they can to fix the kitchen mishaps !

Restaurant with many surprises

It took me some time to try this restaurant in my neighborhood, and after I became a regular guest. I visited them with my wife, friends, and family and every time, they surprised me with delicious food and friendly staff. An amazing harmonic place that combinates quality, taste and variety of many dishes - highly recommended restaurant!!

Everything good but the menu "problem".

TA says in red, "COVID-19 Update: This restaurant is only available for takeout or delivery at this time." It's open as normal. Had a breakfast which came promptly. Tasty and all I needed. Staff were pleasant and professional. Ideal location and good seating inside and outside. I have no complaints at all, apart from - As mentioned before, there are some of us that don't have internet on our phones and cannot see the menu from the scanned QR code. Nor do they have a written menu or, as it happens, the wifi wasn't working either to allow me to see what as on offer. Had to borrow the waitress's phone. Don't like that.

My benedict eggs were cooked and not poached eggs. Not to mention old, dry bread. I also ordered a lemonade with ginger and mint and got plain one. Unfriendly stuff at only 10 am. I was very disappointed, especially since everyone praises the food and service.

Overrated

Breakfast was okay, coffe also but no more and crispy bacon is different to what was served here. The waiter took the full musli cup from our table and did not bring a new one after asking. We had to ask another waiter again to get it.
