Slow and poor service. With not so many customers at the time of our stay, we were first overlooked, then we were asked again what our order was, the we waited some more to get three simple drinks. Getting the bill was again another challenge....The staff was not friendly, e.g. we would understand if the staff is new and learning but showing some proper attitude.More

Situated a short walk along a sopping street from the Three Bridges, this coffee house provides a warm welcome and good coffee. Waitress spoke excellent English and was very helpful. Good selection of sandwiches. Recommended unreservedly

One of those great little coffe bars where you can see and be seen, right next door to the Opera House, great range of Panini and coffees, and some lovely cake! You got the feeling you could sit there and make a coffee last all...morning if you wanted to!More

A comfortable atmosphere and a beautifully decorated bar, you can also sit outside. They have good alcoholic cocktails, including soft drinks. I also tried hot chocolate, which is great. Friendly staff, but we waited for some time for the service, also for a drink. The...only minus.More

We were exploring the museums in Park Tivoli. Because we were there off-season, we were at a loss for a place in the park to eat and the Opera Bar was the closest option. Enjoyed our sandwiches, snacks, and coffee and the service was efficient...(not rude or inattentive, but not overly impressive). I do wish they had a bit of a lengthier menu for us to choose from but what we did have was good (especially the chocolate cake).More

Went there after opera night for a drink with family and some friends...waited for 10 minutes for the waitress, just to order, and another 10 minutes to get the drink. It was just the the sparkling wine, nothing complicated. At the end...another 10 minutes to...get the check! Unorganised, slow service...really unprofessional! Where was the manager, owner...? They are losing a lot of customers and a lot of money! So sorry to see this in my home town :(More

We called in here for a couple of drinks in the middle of a walking tour. Hot chocolate and wine were very good. Service was quick (place was not busy), and the location was great for people-watching. The hot chocolate in Ljubljana is very rich...and thick!More

In the old town, this bar/restaurant has a n ice decor. Coffee and beers are the offered specialties. Althugh both lists could be larger, the choice of craft Slovenian beer has to be appreciated and prices are correct. Cheers!

The bar had only a few tables occupied and yet with two waitresses on shift we waited 15 minutes for a simple coffee and an iced tea. While the tea was good, the coffee was beyond horrible. You have to ASK the waitress for the...key for the upstairs restrooms, which in my opinion is something you encounter at gas stations, not in centrally located bars with a more upscale clientele. What is even worse, the lock didn't even work and I couldn't enter the restroom! After I came home I checked the receipt and found they charged us extra for rice/soy milk although the coffee was prepared with regular milk. Never again!More

I did not actually eat at this place as I walked out before getting a look at a menu. I went in because it had a shaded, outdoor cafe and it was a hot day. It was about 1:30pm. The place was not busy and...there appeared to be several a=waiters. I stood for a while while they ignored me. Then I sat down at an empty table. After being ignored for another while I waved to a waiter (who was tidying up a table) and asked for a menu. He nodded and went back to tidying the table. After more than eight minutes I got up and left.I told another waiter that the service was too slow. The experience brought back memories of dining in pre-1989 Eastern European grubby cafes, when waiters would ignore customers for long periods of time before bringing menus (most of the items on the menu were not available) and the food was awful. This was a bad flashback to those times.More

Nice little café across from the opera house, covered seating so nice place to people watch even in the rain. They give blankets for cool evening cocktails.

A popular place to stop for a coffee when you are around downtown. Nice ambient, relax in a calm central location without being disturbed by hundreds of shoppers and tourists. Service is slow sometimes.
