The food, as well as the hospitality and service were all perfect. We enjoyed our evening with the cold starter salad, then continued with the medium-rare deer steak as main course and finished with three-chocolates dessert, all paired with great Slovenian wines.

I usually avoid fine dining restaurants, but my friends convinced me to try it. It really blew my mind. Excellent food and wine selection and very friendly staff. I highly recommend it.

We often visit different restaurants in Ljubljana, but none of them can even be compared to the high level of food and service Maxim has to offer. All the dishes are prepared with a lot of love and imagination. The service is equally amazing. We...More

After a sucessful meeting we were invited to lunch at Maxim. The surrounding is strange, located in souterrain of a 70th concrete landscape. The ambiente also looks old-fashioned: Dark-wooded walls, thick curtains and a big big table - is this maybe balkans-style? However, the service...More

Highly recommend the cafe for tasty cakes. There is a wide choice of cakes available. Moreover, cafe interior still preserves the style of 80s.

Similar opinion exists for a shop and for nice restaurant. Food in Ljubljana is not bad but it is far from French. Prices are high because many businessmen eat here. Restaurant’s name wants to be connected with famous restaurant in Paris. Place is good but...More

Everytime I eat here, I eat alone. I don't know why that is, because the food is great. The lovely "Zen" garden is a nice secluded retreat from the town's hustle and bustle. Especially nice in the summer months.

If I am not mistaken, this restaurant has been renamed as "Romans 1971". Pleasant ambience - large windows with a lot of light, plesant unobstrusive service. WE had very good food with a Slovenian twist (can't remember the local names for the soup, main dish)....More
