Pizza is really great here, nice and crusty. There are so many varieties, everybody can find something of taste. They even have vegan pizza. We had "vražja" pizza, hot and spicy - very good. We recomend it highly if you fancy a pizza. The service is also fast and friendly

The pizzas at Pizzeria Foculus are the best in Ljubljana, and they are cheap. The ingredients are really top-notch quality, and are cooked perfectly. One downside though, the waiters are usually very busy, the waiting can be long, and its not that easy to get a waiter attention.

A bit off main tourist tracks, but it's totally worth it. Pizza the way it should be done (plenty of choice) and caezar salad was excellent as well. Very reasonably priced for the place in the old town! Nice seating outside and friendly service. Definitely recommended.

Four of the Slovenia Tour where hungry. We opte for Pizza. We found Pizzeria Foculus and sat indoors. We order a large pie each. All I know was I enjoyed my green chile topping thin crust pizza. I was a happy dude. I am a native of metro NY - NJ and appreciate a good pizza!

This place is a gem! We went after reading trip advisor reviews, otherwise we wouldn't have seen it as its away from the main food areas, not to far though, definitely worth it! The pizzas are amazing and so are the prices! Drinks are cheap as well unlike other places. We got 2 large pizzas (which are large) a large... More

I am a regular customer at Foculus. I went there on the 16.8.2016 at 16:45 with my friend. We are both lactose intolerant. Anyway, we ordered what we usually order. The waiter was nice. He came back telling us that the cook wont do the pizza. It was Goriski Slavcek, no cheese, and sub the meat for tuna. We were... More

Very large pizzas served here, quality and abundant toppings. A very big choices of pizzas, for a good range of prices to be in a European capital. Little tip: ask to put mozzarella on top of your pizza and not the "cheese" which is on menu. Enjoy.

We got take out from here and it didn't disappoint. Huge selection of pizzas with loads of delicious ingredients. Can also add toppings for additional cost if you wish. Highly recommend for a delicious, quick and affordable pizza

Despite turning up at 10:30pm on a Sunday, the staff at this Pizzeria were very friendly and welcome. It was well worth venturing slight away from the hussle and bussle seen at the restaurants alongside the river. The menu is extensive with a great variety of pizzas. I went for the Sailors pizza which was packed full with cheese and... More

Description
In the middle of Ljubljana, only two steps away from all the tourist attractions, there is one of the most visited places in the city - pizzeria FoculuS.
The name of the pizzeria is a tribute to exceptional history of the location - the Latin word "foculus" means "a metal container for burning coal, wood, etc.".
In the past, ancient Romans used to gather here, and today, it is a place for everybody to enjoy.
The location of the pizzeria is still one of those magical places from which a 5-minute walk will take you to the greatest cultural, historical and artistic attractions of Ljubljana. Only from here, you will be able to follow the steps of the ancient Romans, the great Slovene architect Joze Plecnik or the latest hits of world-famous musicians.
The selection of pizzas we are offering is almost unlimited and all of them get this delicious brownish crust in our wood-fired beech pizza oven. There are 66 different types of pizzas including the tempting vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, wholewheat and even sweet ones. In addition to pizzas, we also offer our guests 14 different kinds of delicious fresh salads.
All pizza dough is prepared with organic flour (BIO certificate).
