70 year old couple went to this establishment for a Sunday morning Irish coffee and small Guinness. Received a full pint of Guinness ( I guess I should not have cared) but the Irish coffee was 1/5 inch of regular coffee, no whiskey, covered with...whipped cream. Was the most ridiculous looking drink on the planet Took the drink to the young bartender and asked "what is this?" She replied "that's how I make Irish coffee ". Then she asked " well, how do you want me to make it?" Since I didn't bring my complete guide to bartender with me, and was not interested in teaching her the job, I just sat down. Last time I will visit this pub. Don't make the same mistake.More
Actually, you are totally right. We don’t offer Irish coffee at all, and we haven’t got it in our Menu cause it’s such a different types of making it in every country differently. She made it cause you asked for it, but yeah you are...More
Didn’t know it but it was great to find this ‘home from home’ place next door. Just to see an Irish pub is great but it reads tradition. Homely, fun and of course great beers ... local (Lasko and Union) as well as Guiness and...Kilkenny. Open till 3am but I don’t think I will last that long. Have fun. Note food is just Pizza and ham/cheese toasties. 😀More
Thanks a lot😀
We were stopping next-door at Hotel Slon, and visited here after a concert down the road. What a great find! We landed just after 11pm when all other places were either closed or winding down to find a great atmosphere inside. The pub haas a...typical Irish.English old-school vibe playing great music. What was interesting, was that the later it got, the busier it became. It is a place where you could easily lose track of time, which we did! We actually had table service, which was a nice touch, from very friendly staff. I loved the real ale on draught! Highly recommend Holidays Pub, especially when you want a beer around midnight and beyond! Did I mention the superb draught pale ale😜More
Woooow thanks a lot :)
It is a nice bar in the center of Ljubljana. They offer a big choice of beers and they also have cocktails. The staff is friendly, although the place was very busy. There is no service at the table and you have to take your...drinks from the bar. Prices are OK. I can not remember they offer also something to eat, but I arrived quite late after midnight. The bar is open at least until 2 am. Unfortunately the music is so loud and so it is no place to talk to your friends. There is also dancing going on in the middle. On some days, they are also doing karaoke.More
Tnx for the rewiev :)
This pub is open since 90's so there customers got older with them. It stays open until 4 a.m. during weeknd
tnx😘
Stopped by before our walking tour for a few drinks. Service and drink selection was so good that we ended up staying a couple of hours. Great spot for a relaxed drink.
Thank you very much☺️
Stopped early afternoon and came back later in the evening after dinner. Nice environment for sitting back and having a pint of local Slovenian beers. Great pub!
tnx a lot!
Dirty, rude, and creepy people inside and out side at all hours of the day. Please keep patrons inside and quiet during nightly operating hours.More
Hi there :) Tnx for the rewiev, we appreciate your opinion! But we have to answer ;) From your comment we can consider that you were 22hours in our pub ( because we work 22hours per day ).We have to say, that nobody was in...More
Love the service, the atmosphere was nice. Staff very friendly would recommend anyone to come and visit. Weekend chill out in that pub is awesome for all who likes 80’s music. Enjoyed my time there will definitely come back. So far my favourite spot,
Thank you for the rewiev ;)
Few Beers & G&T’s after a day of work & a late afternoon flight Lovely little boozer with good music(DJ) with a good little crowd Made to feel welcome as soon as we arrived & good advice when I asked about a good local dark...beer @ decent prices Just what the doctor ordered after work & travels Great location to Ljubljana old town.More
Thank you for the rewiev ;)
We went in here at the end of our evening as most of the bars in Ljubljana close at 12am - this is to prevent disruption to local residents. HolidAy’s bar however is open until approx 3am. The pub boasts that it is the oldest...in Lubjiana. Staff were friendly and there was a mix of tourists and local residents frequenting the pub. The pub has atmosphere and staff were friendly. Unsure if they serve food as we went in there quite late.More
Thank you for the rewiev ;)
Very friendly pub with good service. Large selection of beers. Welcoming atmosphere. Convenient location near shops.
Thank you for the rewiev ;)
We spent a couple of hours here as the weather was pretty bad and most museums were closed for national bank holiday. We were first amazed on the great selection of Slovenian beers. I believe they had 10 taps, and about 80 different beers in...the menu, most of them local. Also the waiter knew his stuff as he was able to recommend us beers when the one we chose was finished, or by explaining him the style we were looking for. The atmosphere was also very nice; it's a small place, decorated as an Irish pub, and the music selection was very good, 80s and 90s music, not too loud. Slovenia has a great beer culture, and we have visited several bars and tap rooms, but this is definitely one of our favourite pub style bars that we have visited.More
Thanks a lot :)
This pub played great music-lots of top hits over many years, but not too loud so that you couldn’t have conversation. The inside was nice & clean & also had a large outdoor seating area overlooking a Main Street, so nice view/ppl watching. It was...a pint on tap(Lasko! Etc) for 2.60e. Once night falls, the menu said it’s 3e. There was a sign that said “karaoke every Wednesday @ 9pm. So far, this may be my favorite pub in this city👍More
